I have hit a big wall, Gabriella has just had her birthday, she still has the moodlet. Yet she only has 4 days till Teenhood and the other half of her bar is full. She has not even been to school yet and won't apart from 2 days because it is 12:30am Saturday. What do I do now with Gabriella and getting a good grade in school so I can choose her traits?

I would make her work hard the first day then makes sure she does her homework then work hard again the next day. I don't know what grade they have to have so you can choose their traits maybe someone else knows. I did have a Sim in a legacy challenge that I aged up to teen early he didn't go to school the morning of his birthday and I didn't get to choose his traits. He was an A grade student up to that point.

@Pam Generation five is a teen in my Dynasty.

Pam,from what I understand Gabriella aged up to teen but has only got 4 days till her next birthday when you normally have around seven. Thomas is worried that she won't get a good enough grade in school with the limited amount of school time she will have.
At least that is the gist I got someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks, Rachel.

@samoht04:  Please provide enough detailed information if you want some suggestions for your Dynasty.  I didn't see that information in this thread and I'm still confused as to what the problem is.

Okay, sorry if that wasn't clear enough here is what has happened.

Gabriella was a toddler, she then reached her birthday. Diana threw a party for her. After she aged up she had a makeover, trait selected and ate some cake. I then saved and exited. Yesterday when I opened the game up Gabriella was now halfway through the Childhood life stage with half of the bar filled, it says she has 4 days left till becoming a teenager when it should be 7. It is the same day and only a few hours after she grey up hence the Birthday moodlet. School starts in 2 Days for her and that means she only has 2 days to get to an A. The problem is that the game has made Gabriella older than she should be, it has reduced her time as a child which is really annoying. I am worried it will mess up me being allowed to choose her traits.

Ok, I think I understand now.  And you're saying that she still has her positive birthday moodlet, which is proof that she really did just age up?  I feel like that's a technical difficulty and you are allowed to go back to a previous save and see if it works out normally the next time.  Will that help?

Yeah, I agree with Pam, samo. The game threw you a curveball with not giving you the normal and expected lifespan for the Teen. Go back to an earlier save if you wish.

Okay thank you. I will try and see if that helps, if not then I will just go ahead and deal with the consequences.

I apologize if this has been asked already, but my sim just came back from the past with a little girl who looks like him.  May I keep her?

I think you have to they just don't count as a possible immortal because they were not the result of a natural conception.
