Question about placing venues- If we acquire a venue from the store partway through the challenge, are we allowed to add it to the world?

@Squark my understanding is yes you can. But wait for the official word from @Trip before taking my word for it.

@Squark: Yes. Same goes for any buildings put into the community lots library by EPs/SPs (e.g. if you get Late Night halfway through, there's nothing wrong with placing clubs).

The game glitched out and I have two Motive Mobiles (I should only have one). Permission to use familyfunds to sell one and reset my funds so I don't profit from the sale?

They don't really add that much to the funds. I say just sell it.

• Ambrosia must be made from homegrown Life Fruit and caught deathfish. Ingredients are allowed to be cloned but only if the sample came from a homegrown plant or caught fish.
• All deathflowers placed in an immortal's inventory must be homegrown or cloned from homegrown.

Does this mean we cannot use Life Fruit / Deathfish / Deathflowers that were grown on an Omni Plant? Or can we, provided the Omni Plant is on our home lot?

I say no to omniplant usage for that purpose (anything else should be fine).

Though you could use any life fruit or deathfish gained from an omniplant to either plant a life plant/deathflower bush or stock a pond of deathfish.

In the rules, it says that new lots can only be placed when a new expansion is released. Does this rule still apply (as in downloading an expansion that's new to your game)? Or is placing new venues just unallowed now? What I'd really like to know is if I'm allowed to place venues that I've purchased from TS3 store after the dynasty started, or if I'll have to hold back on those. Thank you!

Still allowed, but only when you install the pack. You can't skip it then add it later.

Example: I just installed Pets. Opted out of placing any of the buildings. I can't place those now.

So if I purchase the Business as Usual Bistro from the official store after my dynasty starts, the first time I run the game, I can place it, but after that no dice? Or must all venues from the store you want to place in your town be placeable prior to starting the dynasty?

After you buy Business as Usual Bistro, if you want to place the Bistro as it comes from the store, it needs to be done the next time you are in game playing your dynasty. If you don't place it at that time, as you say, no dice.

If there is a wallpaper from that bistro or a bench or an appliance you really like and want it in your house, or a property you own, you can buy those things at any time, you just get the one opportunity to place the complete venue in game - at the start of it for preowned venues or next time after you play game for venues you purchase during game play.
