As a follow-up on that: I have a photo with the subject 'Child being carried'. Is that acceptible for the Sim doing the carrying, or only for the child?

I understand that this one also is accepted by the game as being complete if it is of a child carrying a doll/bear

It always completes for me when it's of a toddler being carried.

Anyways, I agree with Nutella. The name of the subject points to the focus being the child, and not the carrier (otherwise, wouldn't it be called "Carrying Child?").

Thank you all! I agree with the reasoning but I also really liked the photograph :)

Yes...

Sorry, just to get this straight - if Agnes were to supermax sculpting, would gen 2 be allowed to supermax sculpting? I might be reading everything wrong, but I just want to get it cleared.   :P

Whatever mortals max or complete has no bearing on what immortals can and can't complete. So Agnes can sculpt all she likes and an immortal can still use it as a supermax.

One of my sims has just died (one that should die and it was of old age. He had been invited to a party and I sent him to it, he went in the family's motive mobile. The house where the party was held had a spare parking spot in it, and my sim parked the motive mobile in it. My question is will the motive mobile be returned to the Spirin family or is it going to remain in the townie's house?

I've lost a lot of vehicles this way. It's probably gone for good. I always give mortal elders an expendable vehicle as their preferred.

If you have a kleptomaniac in your household you could try and steal it back, I've done that before now. I'm assuming one of your other sims can't just go over to the house and click on the motive mobile and select go home or something?

I'm sure any other car would not have been so annoying but that is not really one you want to lose is it  :-\

Thank you :)

I am on my cell phone reading this so please forgive me for asking, but can the founder be a witch? I know they are allowed as heirs and spouses. But just need clarification for the founder. Thank you

I've had founders as witches in the past, so I'm fairly sure the answer is yes. :)

Well, surprise, surprise! Sunday week 3 in game and I've just experienced another bug! The saved game can't open and causes an error which causes Sims 3 to close down. I've closed down the game, rebooted the computer, cleaned the caches etc, but no luck. So, I return to my previous save, which was done on the Saturday of week 2, which I understand I can do without needing to seek permission:

From the ruleset
Quote
If you have a bonafide bug, then you may return to an earlier save.

On Sunday, week 3, the first death in the family occurred, and as I posted earlier in this thread, the sim that died went to a party, taking the family motive mobile with him, and parking it in the spare parking spot at the house where the party was held, resulting in the Spirins losing their motive mobile.

My question is: as I know he'll die, can I take different actions (eg not send him to the party, or put the motive mobile into a sim's inventory) so it isn't lost to the family, or do I need to take the same actions that'll result in the family losing their motive mobile?

Many thanks for your answer.
