@Tia: The base game skills are Logic, Painting, Writing, Guitar, Cooking, Handiness, Gardening, Fishing, Athletics and  Charisma, Which is 10, and there 10 base game careers.......so it should be possible. There's also enough LTR to go around, but I think you might have trouble with opps.

The ops should still be okay, I'm playing my Goblin Kings without Into the Future and not having any problems with them.

Not a problem until now.
And if a sim don't get enough with their career and skill, I let them touch other careers or skills, just without maxing them.

I'm on gen 6 with my base game only! I haven't had the time recently to finish up, but it's definitely doable. Makes you miss all the fun shortcuts from the EPs though.

Some questions regarding opportunities for black ops, particularly in light of the fact that Into the Future seems to have eliminated skill opportunities altogether. I have used the following page: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Sims_3_Opportunities#Business_Career for most of these questions

1 Can the opportunity you get offered from Emit Rellevart count towards Black Ops?
2 With Primary School/Secondary School Ops, Primary School has one called "Research Project", while Secondary School has one called "The Research Project". Do these count as two separate opportunities?
3 I presume that 'The Honor Roll' from both the Primary School and Secondary School opportunity lists can only count once. Is that correct?
4 Does Teaching, Fortune Teller, Pets Expansion Pack, Into the Future Expansion Pack or University Expansion Pack Careers offer any opportunities that qualify for black ops?
5 Do any of the Professions provide Opportunities that count?

1. I'm pretty sure it does.
2. As long as one word is different, it's fine, right?
3. According to the rule above, yes.
4. I haven't really explored those, sorry.
5. Private Investigator gives loads and Singer/Acrobat/Musician each give one when you get to level 2.

Can the opportunity you get when entering the equestrian training grounds in town (e.g. to perform x number of jumps), count as a BlackOps? Or are town events excluded from the list?
