Okay, I just have a quickie question regarding death in the Immortal Dynasty, which I am doing for fun but not HOF.
My founder(based off of Erika of Celadon Gym) married Conrad Anderson(This is in Starlight Shores) and I know that it's not banned to have anything from Buy Mode as long as it doesn't violate a rule, so I gave all the housemates(the Gooder family which I moved in because they were rich and could cover painting, sculpting[Nat's sculpting up a storm to get Ice Personality before Erika gives birth] and the ambrosia skills) the Windcarver boards and holo-computers with their money. I love the holo-computers as they make doing anything computer-required easy to do even in the park and you don't need a table!
So, if I gave a jetpack and had him fly around a zillion times and he HAPPENS to get the jetpack crash death(Erika's already got his babies in her body so the Dynasty is assured), would I get penalized for that because he didn't die of old age. I know the rule "You cannot kill off a Sim" but what if he hits the what seems to be 25% chance of dying of jetpack failure and I was just going to get him to Advanced Tech Level 4 so he and his wife could have some WooHoo in the sky? In a Youtube video by Simmer AndrewArcade, who was doing a let's play of ITF, his Oprah Winfrey Sim died of jetpack failure without him noticing until he clicked on her.
It seems these new deaths are a little TOO easy to get. I do not plan on having Erika wear a jetpack until she fulfills the requirement so she can have a Death Flower.
EDIT: I am NOT trying to kill off my Sims, I am not going to have Conrad use the jetpack. I just want to confirm that if you queue up Fly Around a lot just to get Advanced Tech skill up, you won't get blamed for killing off a Sim if they accidentally die.
