Are we allowed to change the spouse name just to match the themes we are using?
What I meant is when we move the spouse in, and then we go to town hall to change the name...

I see no problem in doing that.

I have a bug with my immortal dynasty family, I've gotten to the second generation being YA, so I wanted to do some travel. But when I try to return, the game freezes on the loading screen. I've left it running for hours and it still won't finish, it's stuck at about 96% or so. I tried returning by using the phone, or waiting until it makes you return. I already did a factory reset, removed all my premium content, and it still happens, regardless of which Sim(s) I try to take on vacation. I tried recovering a backup and still the problem occurs. I made a new file and that Sim can successfully return from vacation.

Any ideas what I should do?

I am currently trying this challenge in Isla Paradiso. There are some questions that I would like to ask, does anyone know the answer tell me please :

1. In Isla Paradiso there is a resort that could be bought for free. Are we allowed to buy it? Will it count into lot that we own?
2. Are we allowed to re-colour a housemate?

Thank you  :)

You can own a resort but it doesn't qualify as a business or property.

By re-colour, do you you mean change the hair colour? I am pretty sure you can, as long as you do it at the mirror and not the styling station.

I was puzzling over that too, but my guess is mermaids and scale color, since Sherry mentioned Isla Paradiso.

That, too, is allowed, changing the scale color, so long as it does not extend their lives or unnecessarily shorten it.

Hi, I am Nandarelle, and I just signed up for this forum yesterday.
I started this challenge in August, and I have a great time playing it!
So I just wanted to thank you for creating it.

Pardon me, I forgot to mention it clearly... the re-colour I mean is the skin colour.

How would you do that?

The only way you could do that is with mods or cheats, and neither are allowed in this.

Something I noticed with regards to the stylist station for makeovers, which will probably require a bit of testing before any potential changes are made, but at least in another file I'm playing, it seems that makeovers no longer reset age. My sim did do a "makeover self" when she had 1 day of age already gone, but she didn't reset to the beginning.

Posting it here because this was the first place to be banned. :)

I wasn't even sure why they were banned, they never reset age in my games.

It changed my sim's age last time I used it but this was a couple of months ago so it must have been fixed in a very recent patch.

3rd party Custom Content that alters appearance such as skin tone or hairstyles, etc. is not considered a modification of the game and can be used at the player's own risk.

But how would you apply it to an existing sim who has moved into your house without a cheat or other mod?
