Random question: has anyone encountered a problem with Sims' aging? Basically, my founder just had her adult birthday. As usual, I sent her to the mirror to get some nice looking hair on her. Then I saved right away and exited the game (it was pretty late for me). The next time I opened my file, it was still sort of her birthday. As in, the end of the party. That's when I noticed she had only 16 days until elder, despite the fact that it was still the day of her birthday. When she woke up the next morning, she was 15 days from elder, which was fine. But at the end of THAT day, she was ten days from elder! What?

Has this happened to anyone?

I know it's not exactly a Dynasty specific question, but it will probably make me fail this attempt. I figured I'd ask if it had happened to anyone--and if anyone knew how to fix it.

melonBANANA-

Have you tried clearing your cache?  If you have and that still didn't fix the problem, you have permission to go back to a previous save (before the aging bug).

Okay! I tried clearing my chache, like you said Nutella. Her age is still messed up (she's two days older than her husband, when she should be two days younger) but she seems to be aging normally now. Everyone is aging normally too. One of my twins is older than the other by a day, but it's nothing major but again--aging normally. I'll just keep playing the way it is now. It sucks to have lost four days somehow, but I'll roll with it. It shouldn't affect me too much.

Thanks, Nutella!

I've been planning how I wanted to do my attempt at this for a while and I finally got started, and so far it's going great :)

Good luck, fellow Watcher! ^^

I have another question!

Quote
World Adventures players have the option of purchasing WA lots and having those count towards the 2-property requirement.
Can you explain how about WA lots work? What it means starting from having those count towards the 2-property requirement?
I'm a bit confused about 2-property part.

So, if I buy one empty lot that will be count as one property? Two empty lots count as two property? Something like that?
Just want to make sure @_@

Thank you ^^

The Hibernation Chamber, is there by that meant the Quantum Power Chamber?
And if yes, is the item totally banned. Or can we still let our sims equip themselves with the Quantum Power Suit?

The same question would be for the other dynasties but that would not be appropriate to ask for here would it?

I'm a bit confused about 2-property part.

For Immortal dynasty challenge, one of the requirement is to purchase one building and one property (2 separate ownerships). The property purchased must be fully upgraded before Ambrosia can be eaten.

Also players can add the following lots from a vacation world into a homeworld:  Phoenix Martial Arts Academy,  The Scholar's Garden,  Champ Les Sims Nectary, Keith's Komics, B's Bowlarama, The Grotto and Roasted Toasted Beans Coffee Shop.

This means if you added academy into your world, you can purchase the academy and have it count towards your 2-property requirement (building/property).

The Hibernation Chamber, is there by that meant the Quantum Power Chamber?

Yes

And if yes, is the item totally banned. Or can we still let our sims equip themselves with the Quantum Power Suit?

The chamber extends life, which is the reason we had to ban it.  Quantum Power Suit not banned.

The same question would be for the other dynasties but that would not be appropriate to ask for here would it?

Same ruling for all the other dynasties, chamber is banned for its life extending effects, power suit not banned.

Oh, I see what it means about 2-property requirement things now. Thank you so much for your explanation, Nutella! That helps me a lot, everything is clear now!

I didn't quite get it until I went to the computer and looked at real estate, and there's a column that says either Property or Building :)

I think I might have messed up my immortals museum, I've noticed people have much bigger photographs than I do - my sim uses the camera everyone gets at the beginning of the game - is that wrong? Do I have to purchase the camera from the consignment store instead?

The largest photo size is available only from the best camera. I always sell or ignore the cameras that every sim comes with and shoot for getting the best one. The panorama photos fit under portraits the best. :P

Thank you again, jesirose. My 2nd generation will becomes young adult soon and I have plan to buy her a property in WA world, I have no problem if it's in current world. But the thing that make me confuse is about 2-property part. I just realized that it's quite the same (building & property). It's so embarrassing :P

But, better safe than sorry! XD XD

You didn't messed up.
1)  Photographs are optional, not required.
2)  Photographs size doesn't matter, value doesn't matter.  Only thing that matters is the subject of the photo needs to correctly register as the immortal.
3)  If you are wanting to increase the museum value, then you have to get the most expensive camera (Hikon) for the panorama shots -- this camera can be bought in Egypt or your local consignment store.

Thank you again, jesirose. My 2nd generation will becomes young adult soon and I have plan to buy her a property in WA world, I have no problem if it's in current world. But the thing that make me confuse is about 2-property part. I just realized that it's quite the same (building & property).

If you did add a world adventure lot in your world, when you purchase it -- check and see if it is listed as building or property.  If its building, then you need to purchase a property for your next requirement.  If its property, then you need to purchase a building for your next requirement.  Its one building + one property requirement.
