You have permission to evict the family in edit town, then put them back in the same house.  This has solve the bed problem for other players, it should solve it for you too.

It did not work for me. Could I try going to an older save?

Did you check and see if your old save have the same problem?  Also do you have any mods?   If you do, remove mods might help.   

If all else fails, you have permission to go back to an old save.

The rules say: "As long as your immortal did max a unique career they do not need to be at level 10 when it’s time to eat Ambrosia—retiring is an option."

So yes, they can quit.

That's not the problem I think I'm going to try and go back to an old file or just start over (It will only be like the billionth time I've attempted it).

I could've sworn that I've read the decision for this problem before, but my searches won't find it, so I'm going to ask again 

My founder rolled a wish to have a child right after she gave birth, and I let her adopt a child while the official gen 2 firstborn was still a baby. Now, the rules only say

The firstborn child of any generation is the targeted immortal. In the event a pregnancy results in twins or triplets, then the first named child is the next immortal.

So I think I'm okay, but did I jeopardize HOF because my targeted immortal is no longer the oldest in her generation?

I see that aliens sims are allowed in the household. I just want to clarify, does that mean it is OK for an heir to be half alien? I.E. one of the heirs is abducted by aliens and becomes pregnant? Thank you so much.

You can't keep abduction babies, no matter who they're from. The way that you get aliens in the dynasty household is by moving them in with you the usual way. Then they can make alien babies with your sims.

Welcome to the forum Dulcea.

If an abducted heir becomes pregnant, they must send the alien baby back to the home world when it is born.

In the rules it states,

• All children that result from abduction pregnancies must be returned to their homeworld and cannot become a part of the household.
