Why can't an immortal that has eaten Ambrosia consume a young again or even an age freeze potion?

Why can't an immortal that has eaten Ambrosia consume a young again or even an age freeze potion?

When this challenge was created, none of those other options were available, potions came along with generations xpac.

The team decided to stick with ambrosia because it is more challenging, you have to remember to eat ambrosia or you will kick the bucket.  With the potions young again you become YA and don't have to worry about dying soon and age freeze potion is just no worries about dying at all.

I have a question about the museum value, do you include the immortal's building and property as well or just the actual pieces - sculpture, painting and photograph?

Uhh... Now that I am on Generation Four, it suddenly occured to me that I may have screwed up my dynasty way back in Gen 1.

My founder, for various story reasons, was maxing the horseman career, and to do so, he'd adopt wild horses and sell them.  It occurs to me now that this probably broke all kinds of rules about bringing household members in and then removing them without them dying.  Or is there an exception for pets like this?  He never trained them -- no time to do it -- just adopted and sold them.  So they were only in the household for about ten minutes. :)  But I can see how that would still cross the line.  ID Team?  Can I get a ruling?

Oh thank goodness.  And thanks for the speedy reply! (I hope I didn't just miss that in the rules somewhere, and make extra work for you.  You guys are really great about answering so many questions.)

When I tried to load my immortal dynasty today, it came up with an error that read something like: "A serious error has occurred while try to load "SheoDynasty15.sims3", it is recommended to restart the game". Eventually it just quit, so I tried to load it again and the same thing happened. Is there some way to fix it or is that save lost? And if I can't get it to work, would I be able to go back to my previous save?

If you can't get this fix, you can go back to your previous save.  Not sure how to fix that, anyone have any suggestions?

I just had that happen with one of my older saves. I wanted to export the Lunar Lakes Crosby family house. I tried on two different computers. One updated to the latest patch and the other not updated recently. It wouldn't open on either one.
