Thank you for responding to my post! So I would need to find a painter to paint a portrait of me? Hmm....with only 6 hours left before I become an adult, it looks like I may have to start over. If this ends up being the case, could I just have my initial founder give birth and use her child as the next founder, or would I have to start over from scratch?

Welcome to the forum.   Yes you need a separate painter to paint the picture of gen 1 at least. 

You can start with the founder's child but you have to start a new save file no matter what you choose to do.  You can't keep the family you're currently working on.  All Immortal Dynasties begin with just a single person with only 1800 dollars and a chunk of land, nothing else.

Hey so I've started a new dynasty, and also just bought Island Paradise. I believe that there is a new option to move to a new world? I was wondering if dynasty are allowed to take advantage of this new option?

This was handled in the last few pages of this thread.  The answer is no.  If you want to be in the new town, you have to start over.

I would also suggest finding the notes in this thread that came along with the latest patch and expansion.  Players are expected to keep up with rulings made based on content or questions.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned in the rules, if it was then i didn't see it, but for the best friend requirement can it be the husband if the relationship bar is full? Because the icon says 'Husband' and not 'Best Friend'.

Yes.  Just as long as the relationship bar is where it should be for a best friend.

I have a question with moodlets... My founder had three good moodlets, the eating one, the comfy one, and one other.  Yet, her bar was still in the red.  I'm not sure what's wrong.  Does anyone have a solution?  Or has anyone else had this problem?  Could it be a glitch?

There was a glitch like that back when Late Night was released, but I'm pretty certain it was fixed.

Since I've never run into that sort of bug before, well, have you reset your affected sim? Exited, cleared caches, and restarted?

Thanks Trip!  I always clear my caches but I didn't think about resetSim for moodlets.  I guess I always think of resetSim when they are actually physically stuck Heh.  That worked though, so thanks!

My game has suddenly started freezing for a few seconds about every six seconds. I know from experience that 'resetSim *' has always fixed this for me before. Is it allowed, to do that? I thought I saw a note about it at some point, but cannot find it again, if I did. Thanks!

ResetSim is allowed to be used to fix a problem at any time in all of the dynasties. The only dynasty or challenge I can think of that has restrictions on the use of the cheat is Rica's Asylum, and the dynasty rules are completely independent of those.

There's a bit of an oddity in my game I would like to take advantage of but not sure of the legality of it.

Basically I am now looking for a spouse for gen 6 by an odd quirk Imsety Amin is still going, he is an original Egypt child who by rights should have died generations back as I went to Egypt when gen 2 was a young adult.

This is where it got odd, when gen 5 was in elementary school and using meet new friends the only person the game could find was Imsety, he showed up as a teenager in elementary school but still living in Egypt on her relationship panel, later when her daughter was in elementary Imsety still showed as a teen and so I invited him over to visit so gen 5 could tutor him in logic, the town being rather short of kids at the time.

Now that seemed to start his aging off again, gen 6 is now nearing adult and Imsety is already an adult, I'd very much like to marry them as much for the lack of clone face as anything, but by rights he should be dead long ago, I don't think he is age stuck anymore as he has got older as time has passed but wasn't sure if he was a viable option for a spouse because of this weird bug that has kept him alive for so long.

He is most certainly a viable option for a spouse.  Story Progression is uncontrollable so it's not like you did something about it specifically to make it that way.
