I've got a glitch in my game that means the roof remains up no matter what floor or wall mode I am on. I've tried removing and replacing the roof already, but that hasn't worked. Do I have permission to go back to a previous save?

Did you make sure Auto-roof was off?  I know sometimes if I forget to check it, you can't destroy the roof.

Typical thing to ask, but have you exited, cleared caches, and started again?

Thanks for the speedy reply! Auto-roof was definately off. The roof just doesn't disappear when I'm playing, which I'm irritated with because in trying to do Immortal 2's toddler portrait!

Trip: Currently, I'm making a back-up incase I do need to quit the game. I'll try clearing the caches in a minute.

Can I just make a small note here?

I have noticed that if you have the season length set to the smallest number (ie: 3 days per season) AND you own a resort (with Island Paradise), you'll get resort monies much more regularly. I think once per season. I don't know how this could affect the rules getting a regular income so frequently.

Just wanted to put that forth.

My founder's birthday is today, but I haven't gained skill in painting in order to be able to paint a self portrait of myself as a young adult. I am wondering if there are any other options for getting a portrait of myself done. I tried taking a photo with my cellphone, but I was unable to see myself in the photo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm having a blast with this challenge and am unable to continue due to fear of having to start all over because I wasn't able to obtain a self portrait at the YA stage.

The rules state that "Make sure you are doing the proper interaction and have a painter choose Paint a Portrait Of...and not your immortal choosing Self Portrait." so self portraits don't count

Thank you for responding to my post! So I would need to find a painter to paint a portrait of me? Hmm....with only 6 hours left before I become an adult, it looks like I may have to start over. If this ends up being the case, could I just have my initial founder give birth and use her child as the next founder, or would I have to start over from scratch?

Actually, you should get payment from your resort daily.
