Both are acceptable (as long as the residential lots in question are totally empty).

Thanks, Trip, for a quick answer. Now I can go back to planning which careers to take and which lots I need.

I sent my Generation 5 to University, and she stayed there for 2 weeks without any problems. When she tried to travel home (5 times), the game froze and crashed. Can I return to a previous save, from just before she left for University?

Yeah go ahead.

Rica's post on edit town (page 250) got me very confused so I need some clarification: can I rezone residential lots in order to be able to place EA community lots from the lots bin? Can I place empty lots in world editor to place community lots?

If you want to PM where you got confused, I'd like to know so I can clarify more in that post to avoid confusion later for someone else.  Thanks :)

They can get it but they can never finish it and turn it in.   The BlackOps have to be uniquely finished.

Hi, I've always wanted to ask this question...
Is the reanimation ritual allowed for original gravestones placed before game progression?
If so, is cure elixir ok to turn the transformed zombie normal and bring into the household?
I think I've somehow seen a discussion about this somewhere in this thread but can never find it again.
If not, I'll still understand, no problem:)

1. Yes. I can think of at least four dynasties that did it.

2. Cure elixirs are fine for everything.

This was actually brought up and tested before.  Yes you can use the reanimation ritual but only on townies that were dead when the game started.  And if you're going to use the reanimation ritual - it will be much easier to just use the sunshine charm which will do the same thing.  You will still have to actually invite them to move in though.

Edit: Trip beat me.  C'mon guys.. Give a girl a chance to type for crying out loud. :P

Oh thank you so much, Trip and Rica, your reply is super fast! Also really thanks for the tip about sunlight charm on transformed werewolves which I read somewhere, it's very useful for my stylist (I think stylist career is allowed on non-household members right?) getting her job done.

I am so very glad, because I have actually done this already after seeing that discussion, and now I no longer have to feel guilty that some rules might have been broken when playing my ID (Don't worry, it's unofficial - I just tried my best to stay with all the rules and never thought of HOF, I was even too shy to ask questions before:)

I still haven't got time to read all the dynasty stories yet so I didn't know that, definitely will try later when I am not that busy with my file:) However, I did find a problem about resurrecting dead this way - somehow they can be moved in and go steady up to woohoo/try for baby, but not engagement or marriage. I tested it with a casual file to find the only way to propose is to get the couple a vacation and do it there. Their wedding needs to be held there, too. I don't know if it's just me or a common glitch in everyone's case.

It has something to do with ghosts.  I've come across it before.

Yes Stylist is allowed just don't give makeovers to anyone you plan on moving into the house as that's advantageous.

Oh no, I've actually pretty much styled everybody in town as I can't bear with those random generated clothes as well as attempting to top her career without using the drafting table (she needs to stay far away from painting skill) Does that mean all future spouses need to be foreigners/university students/new residents/resurrected deads?
Can I also ask a question about potent cure elixir. If I use it on a long-life occult, what will happen to her age - gets immediately old or reset lifespan?

You didn't know but you'll need to be careful in the future.  You basically reset the age of every in town doing that which is kind of a big no no type deal.

Yes you can use a cure but they're age will just get translated to the normal life span.  Meaning if they are in the middle of their bar, they'll probably still be in the middle.  I haven't done it yet to see.
