Are any restrictions on accommodation choices for the sim I just sent to uni? (with the exception of the female only dorms, I mean)

I've got a glitch that no one in my household is able to use the refrigerator to cook. I've tried moving the fridge, getting a new one, and moving the entire kitchen to another room. They can stand in front of the refrigerator, but they can't open it. I've quit and re-started, but the glitch is still there.

Right now I'm keeping them going with apples in inventory, and I plan to have them throw a party because they used to be able to get leftovers (don't know if that will still be possible).

I suspect it's the "starving dorm" glitch that came with University.

Any suggestions for a fix?

If it's the glitch I've been getting, clearing the caches & Deleting the fridge certainly helped.  Have you tried putting a fridge outside with nothing near it to see if that helps?  Can they use a replicator?

The same thing happened to my family! Only the magical Level 10 fridge from the Culinary track was affected, so I placed an extra refrigerator. They're able to get food out of that one.

Come to think of it.  It's my level 10 culinary fridge, too that never gets fixed.   I just put it in the nursery to give the nooboos a LTHP boost.  Usually a regular fridge for the family that I have to delete on occassion.

I just have a quick question that I can't remember the answer.  My founder is getting ready to decorate her property...is buydebug allowed?  I seem to recall that it was a long time ago (I remember someone building the huge aquarium with the fog emitter, but I may be wrong)

Buydebug is not allowed cheat.  Only the ones in the first post are allowed.  Anything beyond that requires permission but we've never allowed buydebug.

Exactly!  My nurseries all come equipped with incense burners from consignment shop, fireplaces that are fireproof (or have someone with fireproof homestead), a culinary fridge,and  music in the baby's favorite genre.  Don't forget to have someone go in and change the diaper before the moodlet goes away, too.   Between that and sometimes a little gifting, I always end up with around 10,000 LTHP at or shortly after the child birthday.

I didn't bring it up in my UL post because there is no restriction.   The roommate thing is only in that world so it's not like you can take them home.   Just remember to not max any skills while at Uni.

It's bugged. I don't know the exact specifications (I have two Sims at Uni. One is my Dynasty heir who has already maxed his SuperMax and the other is a test sim in another save, who has NO skills), but I think it doesn't properly register that you maxed it.
