The Sims 3 Immortal Dynasty Challenge

Everyone is supposed to be on this patch which means everyone has the possibility of this problem so you're not at an advantage over other players since it's a random occurence that could happen to everyone.

Is it considered cheating if I use my sim's Fire Blast on the home lot to exploit the insurance glitch? I would assume it is, but I would rather double check.

It's cheating as using an exploit  is against the rules.  It's like selling things twice because the game is paused.   A No go.

Just a reminder for anyone who got University Life early.  If the team hasn't said that it's allowed then that means it's not allowed.  Please wait to play your dynasty games until we've had a chance to check them out.   Especially when it comes to placing the new lot types.   You only get one chance to enter Edit Town on pre-existing games.  Don't skip that chance just because we haven't said you could yet.

My new dynasty spouse was cured of his vampirism directly before exchanging vows with my immortal.  However, all of his needs are human/green except for "thirst" which still shows as purple now that he's in the household.  His favorite "food" also still shows at B+.  Seems glitchy.  Any idea how to fix?

You've cleared caches and resetSim him?

Yes ma'am.  I also split the file from an earlier save and tried it again to the same result.

Someone else had this problem recently and I don't remember what did the trick.   Do you have supernatural?  Would a potent cure elixir be possible?

That is how he was cured.  The potent cure "normal human sim" pop up happened and everything.

Try it again just to be sure, even consider making him a witch and then back to human to be on safe side.  I'm attempting to find the other thread or comments about this type of problem from before.

Edit:  The problem was Trip with Sir Bobby Sargeant.  Trip tried a lot of things but none of them seemed to work.  Have you had any recent crashes?  Can you go back to a save prior to the vamp moving in and try again to see if he stays cured this time?

Since the two current challenges seem to be on the short-ish side, I'm installing Union Cove to start my very first dynasty! So excited

This is exceptionally weird.  He is human, and registering human on everyone's relationship panels.  However, he cannot satisfy his hunger motive.  Neither eating food nor plasma fruit helps.  He also has both "cured" and "vampire power" moodlets.  I'm confounded.

The CAS cheat resets lifespan so I'm afraid I can't allow that but I can authorize you to "Make All Happy".   One member said that helped get rid of a "sated" moodlet that wouldn't go away. 

What about going back to a previous save?  Did you do that?
