Just wanted to make sure I'm clear on this...

You said that elixirs to make sims vampires, werewolves, or fairies were banned.  Can I still use an elixir to change sims into witches?  Are my immortals allowed to become witches as well?

Yes and yes, due to witches having a normal lifespan.

Can potent cure elixirs be used on fairies/vampires/werewolves BEFORE moving them into the household?

Yes you can, and thank goodness that it's allowed!

Now that we have Supernatural and potent cure elixirs, they need to be cured before they move in.   This is also true for the Townie DecaDynasty.  They have to be cured before you move in for that one though.

Edit: Trip beat me to it while I was finding it!

I just purchased the Al Fresco Street Market. I'm assuming I can go ahead and place it into my existing Dynasty town. Am I allowed to change an empty residential lot (no house on it) to a community lot? If not, do I have to place down a new lot somewhere to fit it in?

You totally can.

Do you have the new greenhouse?  If you did that would make it a lot easier. I suggest building a room with a roof in the backyard for your garden and using moveObjects on to plan when it gets closer to fall.   The plants will never go dormant they will just look frosted over.

I don't think Rica would suggest this if not. :P

Can we throw elixers to turn other people not in the household into fairies/werewolves/etc?

  • The alchemy elixirs to turn Sims into a fairy, vampire, werewolf, or genie are banned from use against townies as this extends their lives.

Silly me, that was on the actual rule page.  ::) Guess I should've re-checked there before posting. Still, thanks for the swift response!
