That's different; every other nooboo that i've had born has gotten an IF.

It's not a guarantee, the odds to get an IF are quite high. I think the odds are 75% off the top of my head.

Yep, the carpool pop-up is a bug. I noticed that too. Also, I can't do the Townie DecaDynasty anymore because a major bug has it so that whenever you marry two Sims together, the one you're controlling jumps to the front of the lot and the one you marry in doesn't move in(no move-in menu) or change his last name. I think Patch 1.42 is a major downer for me. 

Has anybody tried Photography as a supermax yet? I know it's difficult because of the Paparazzi skill challenge, you'd have to lock the baby away and only have Sim watch their needs until they became a child and got a camera. Not for the founder, mind you.

Yeah, everyone's deca-dynasties are on hold because of patch 1.42.
It's the first time i've had the carpool pop-up bug happen, but it's also that when I looked at their work page, it said two hours until work like normal, but than they jumped forward 1-2 days. At least Cameron's still working.

Photography has been done as a supermax but like you said, it's not as easy in the later generations.  That doesn't mean it can't be done though.  Getting a camera could be done as early as the first day in the game if you have a consignment shop.

It is player's choice to turn off seasons and weather for their file.  You cannot change your mind later.  It's another Set it and Forget it type deal but the settings are supposed to be by save file so it shouldn't be too bad to have seasons in one file and none in another.

We will let you know as soon as we found out anything.  Right now I'm just trying to play with a sick 5 year old and a sick 10 month old in the house.

Okay, so just to be very clear, if I add lots from World Editor and place the film backlot, an equestrian centre, a horse ranch, and an elixir shop in Twinbrook, I am okay right?

Are you just starting out?  Founder hasn't been placed on a lot?  You loaded up new game and immediately went into Edit Town to place these items.

If you did these items BEFORE placing your founder down onto a lot, than you are doing great!  Good job and good luck.   
If it was afterwards, there may be a problem or I need more information.

Nope, just started a fresh new file (only about my fifteenth attempt  ) and went straight to Edit Town to put these things in. While I'm at it, changing the three allowed lots to Big Parks and adding the Book Corral to the library. So I am good! Thanks Rica!

Ok ... my founder is going to supermax Fishing and max Gardening. He just popped up his first opportunity, the Great Greens one ... in which he has to deliver 5 harvestables of Great or better quality to Simis Bachelor. He has numerous fish in his inventory a number of which are great or better quality, at least 5, and the system is counting that as me having the 5 harvestables and is giving me the option to deliver them to him. Should I consider that as a bug and work on getting the 5 harvestables (which to me should be from plants, not fish), or can I complete the opportunity with the fish I have in my sim's inventory, and mark this down as something that benefits us rather than harms us?
