You can move in any Sims from the neighbourhood. Any Sims that you create in CAS cannot be moved into your town with the exception being your one and only dynasty founder.

If you're talking about having one of the people who live in town come live with you, by all means invite anyone you want you just can't kill them off as you said.

If you're talking about making a Sim, the only characters you're allowed to create are the YA founder and any animals to join her at the start of the dynasty.   To add another Sim that you created would require using Edit Town which is mostly not allowed at all.

Ok, thanks (read everything ) . Also,  i was looking through the hall of fame and saw that people keep track of how many weeks have they played their dynasty, can it be seen in the game or do we have to keep track of it?

When you mouse over the time of day, it shows you Week #, Day #.   The day you start a game is Week 1, Day 1.

Good luck!  This challenge will definitely be updated with the release of each expansion pack, but until the releases come we really don't know exactly what will be done.

So... say you have your heart set on a certain pairing but the other Sim happens to be a vampire. Is it against the rules to have them marry and move in and then cure them?

Yes it is against the rules.  No household member can be a vampire at any point in their life.

Are they a Vampire at the start of the game? If not then you could always restart and get them in as soon as you can to try and save them, Vampires start turning on Day 2 I think?

Just a question, but why are vampires banned 100% even if cured?

Vampires are 100% banned just like we told eisande a few posts up.

To cure them, they would have to be in your household.  And they cannot be in your household at all, even for the time it takes to cure them.
