ok, well in that case I should be fine. Fishing in the well doesn't seem to offer any advantage over someone using a cat to fish, although the lucky coin is questionable, as it is worth $1500, provides a plus 15 (Maybe less, I had over-emotional) moodlet as long as you hold it, and can be used as a free buy-in at the slots...

I have no problem with you buying it and placing it, as long as you do not use it to gain an advantage.

Is there potential for a Sim to use the wishing well autonomously. I agree with Pam it might be better to just ban it completely.

Thanks Metro for clarifying that about Best Friends.

My Founder managed to both Max his career (Culinary) and achieve his LTW (Surrounded by Family) on the same day, six days prior to him becoming an elder.

He's now got to see to achieving his last two cooking challenges, firming up his Best Friends and encouraging his family to garden and fish like his immortality depends upon it, which it does.

I love being a part of this community, everyone being so friendly and patient with everyone else is so refreshing.

The Auto-noms is fine as it doesn't give any extra life days or anything.  Just don't feed the gourmet food.  The never ending one you get from lifetime rewards is better though if you ever get the 10k or 15k happiness points from him.

I was planning on not getting any awards for her because I'd heard that if they don't have a certain amount of happiness points unspent, then they get a red ghost? Not sure if that's true, but it sounds really sad if it is!

If they have around 10k happiness points or above unspent it's a blue ghost.  If they have no happiness points to spend, it's a red ghost.

I've managed to get clone vouchers (15k), Pet Steel bladders and alpha pet (7500) for all my pets in Artie's file and most of them have still come out blue LOL.

Why would the happiness points need to be unspent for the ghost to be blue?  I'm almost certain that my blue ghost cats have spent their happiness points.

Normally I would agree with all of you but in my dynasty - the animals that are red have less than 10,000 spendable points and all the ones who are blue had over 10,000 left to spend.    They have all had over 30,000 pts each.

Nonamena mentions in our ghost pet thread here about how the game only checks what's available to spend not what's been earned.
