I understand the rule about immortals having three unique LTR's, but can mortals overlap with these unique LTRs? For example Immortal A has the Speedy Cleaner LTR as one of their unique rewards, so can Mortal A also have Speedy Cleaner?

Mortals aren't held to the same rules as immortals except when it comes to life extension pre-ambrosia.   So yes, mortals can have every LTR in the book if they wanted.

From the rules...

  • Non-immortals can be adopted.

About the life fruit in drinks... so long as only immortals drink nectar made from life fruit, that's ok right? The third gen, Lilac Fleur, will be supermaxing nectar making, and all high value nectars seem to have life fruit in it. Just want to make sure it's ok to make, but not drink, unless immortal.

Oh! Also- I put death flowers in inventories BEFORE they were immortal, is that ok?

ETA: I have to mention this, I'm sooo excited. I got my first immortal! :D

You cannot put death flowers in the inventory before immortality.

No, it's not ok.
This is from the rules:
In this Dynasty Challenge, the act of eating Ambrosia and placing a deathflower in personal inventory is a reward reserved only for your designated immortals who have reached Elder status. No immortal can eat Ambrosia and place deathflowers in inventory before that and non-immortals cannot do those things at all. You can harvest deathflowers before an immortal qualifies for eating Ambrosia, but you would need to leave them on the ground or place them in a chest.

Well ... wish me luck! My first day as a member here, I've printed out the rules, I've been planning using Pam's spreadsheet and I've got my naming scheme for my dynasty planned out. I hope I don't go too badly at this. :)

Thanks Odie ... a couple of questions for anyone.

I have all the expansion packs installed with the exception of World Adventures. Do I need to install World Adventures as well? (I didn't like it when it came out)

If I do need to install it, do I need to uninstall the later expansion packs and stuff packs first, or can I install it after the others and it'll work fine?

Welcome to our Forum.

You're not required to have all the Expansion Packs to play this challenge.  It was written so that it could be played even with just the base game.  The only thing is that you'll not be able to use the benefits of World Adventures, like the grapes, the foreign fish, the nectar making/martial arts skills and Lifetime Wishes, etc.  There will be plenty of other skills and items available to fulfill the Dynasty requirements, though.  You should be fine.  Good luck!

For a Photograph, I know I said I wasn't doing them but how could I resist if the Spouse maxed it out two days before Tris aged up to Adult! Back the question anyway, she took a photograph of Tris painting and it registered as 'A Sim Painting' does that count for the picture req? If not can I use one which is as 'My spouse' which I took in case the other one didn't count.
