I was able to supermax fishing without ever leaving Sunset Valley.  It is completely doable as you only need 20 fish and there are now 37 (with Showtime's starfish).

Has anyone looked at this? Please say YES becuse I kinda started making a dynasty on Xbox 360, but I won't have immortals...

Welcome to our Forum, Wiker12.

I'm sorry your question was overlooked.  I can tell you that you can definitely play a revised version of this challenge on your console.  However, Metro will have to decide whether it would qualify for the Hall of Fame.

Metro, would you please give a ruling on this?

Sorry guys to ask this again but I didn't see a reply to it last time I asked..

Do all lots/towns now have families make their funds $1800 to start? Since SV and RV and UC will leave you with $2100.. I did not see anything updated in the 1st page about it either.

Also genies are pretty awesome, but we can not have a genie at all (before we make the "release genie" wish) or just can't have them become part of the house hold?

And since our immortals can't leave on vacation until 2nd generation is young adult..  does that mean they cant use the sim portal as well until then?

I'm not sure what you're asking, but you use the familyfunds cheat on your own, created in CAS, Sim.

The answer to this question is:

Seabody, the only thing you can do with SimPort is perform. The Sims in your dynasty could go see someone who came through Simport, but that's all.

Hi Blackrosea.

Are you sure about having $2,100 in Sunset Valley and Riverview after buying the Immortal Dynasty lot?  It's been awhile since I started mine, but my understanding is that bringing all the other towns to $1,800 was to make them the same as Sunset Valley.

I'm afraid Metro will have to rule on your questions.  He hasn't had a chance to update the Immortal Dynasty rules for Showtime yet, but I'm sure he'll address everything soon.

Oops!  I see that Seabody beat me to it!

I am attempting to choose a neighborhood to start my second official attempt in, and this is a lot harder than I anticipated. The first time around I went with Riverview because it had a map of the seeds and fishing spots. Now I came up with a strategy that didn't require that. I just have to sort through all the townies in every neighborhood to determine potential spouses. I have the Sims wiki for most of them, but Union Cove is another story.

I'll be awaiting an updated first page to include rulings on Showtime before I decide to start anyway.

And I think what Blackrosea was asking was if all towns had to bring their funds to 1,800. In Union Cove I know you are left with 2,100 in funds after purchasing the Dynasty lot, and on the first page it only says to bring the following neighborhoods down in funds: Hidden Springs, Twinbrook, Barnacle Bay, Bridgeport, and Appaloosa Plains. That may have led to some confusion.

EDIT: Also, in my Sunset Valley the Equestrian Center takes up the designated Dynasty lot. What would I do if I wanted to use Sunset Valley?
My dynasty is being temporarily abandoned. The reason? 25% laziness, 25% preoccupation with other Sims families, and 50% an upcoming move to San Antonio.

So far Starlight Shores is actually quite cool, although most of the Townies have no Skills I have found Agnes' Male Equivalent. Level 8 Painting, Elder and a Bwan Speedster! The cruel best bit is that he secures the first portrait but won't take up space for too long... His name is Paul Best. None of the rich Sims appear to be good looking compared to the poorer Sims so it's which would you prefer.

In Starlight Shores the 63x63 Lot is 684 Vista Blvd and it costs $8192. I hope it is this Lot because those of us with Pets have the other 60x60 is taken up by the Equestrian Centre and the other 60x60 is set as a Park so it would be easier for us, and me as I already started.  :P

Union Cove, Quite a few of the Residents are from Stories so you could find their story and see if there is a list of their Bios and Stuff somewhere. I do happen to know that Panther Character has some looks (Awesome Eyes!) and his Friend happens to be  over Level 5 in Sculpting...  :D

Also, in my Sunset Valley the Equestrian Center takes up the designated Dynasty lot. What would I do if I wanted to use Sunset Valley?

You remove the Centre and change the Lot back to a Residential Lot, you can place the Centre elsewhere using the smaller version.

I tried out Starlight Shores a bit yesterday and I loved the Simfests they have occasionally. I'll have to try out the new Magician, Singer, and Acrobat professions to see if I can let one of my immortals tackle one.

And thank you for the tips! Particularly looking up the residents in their stories. I'd been going into edit town mode, switching my active household, then switching again just to see what skills were present and whole had no partner xD

Meh, I don't think I'll even replace the Equestrian center. Pets are always distracting me when I have them in my active household and I end up giving them up for adoption. But now I know what to do if a future expansion with buildings does that to my dynasty lots~

OK I went back and recheck the towns. Looks like now SV and RV both leave my sim with 1800 and UC leaves my sim with 2100. So basically I will just make sure to make my family start funds 1800 after purchasing a lot.  Sorry not sure what haopened before lol but my game has been acting wierd which is starting to frustrate me, and I might put my game on the shelf for a while until EA fix at least quite a few bugs.

Sure. Sorry...I missed that question originally. HoF entrants must all follow the rules as is, so a console version would unfortunately not qualify them for that. But, as far as I'm concerned, so what? If you have the console version, go for it. Adapt as needed and put your best foot forward.

Thanks for doing some homework for me. I will edit the rules pronto. I also added the Genie ban and tossed them in the same line as vampires and mummies given their added lifespan.

Ok, Thanks :D. Already on second generation. I'm kinda not doing the whole immortal thing, just a Dynasty, like King and Queen and such. Pretty cool.

Just a quick clarification on the genie ban.
I understand that this means we cannot set them free and have them join our household. Does it also mean that we are not allowed to use the three wishes at all?
Can we wish for fortune, happiness and world peace etc. as long as we don't have the genie join our household by setting it free?
I assume the longer life wish would be banned of course.

Yeah, as long as the Genie does not join the household, I see no reason not to allow the wishes (except for the longer life wish).

My apologies for not getting the addresses for the lots in SS when I said I would, stuff happened.

As for the 60x60 lot(s), my (admittedly poor) recollection is that they are marked as community lots, but don't actually have anything on them. If, in fact, they don't, could players not just change it from empty community lot to empty residential lot?

(I'd say I can double check, but I'm afraid stuff will happen again, and that will be second time I didn't do what I said I would.)
