This was my fifth official attempt at the challenge. It must just be that town though, I agree. There is so much terrain that is unroutable that it must just cause Sims to get stuck, glitches and then cars from all those Parking Spaces. Uhg. I love the townies in it though, I like them so much more than the other Townies in EA Worlds.

Sorry to hear about your attempt being broken. The furthest I have gotten is with Generation Four being a teen.  :-\

I wish I could copy all the townies from Hidden Springs and place them in the other towns. If I can't do that for my Dynasty, I'll do it when I play outside of a challenge.

I was really sad. ): I tediously planned out every single stage of the Dynasty so that my first attempt would make the HoF. But of course something just had to mess up my file. Because I worked so hard on planning (and the story), I think I'll run along the same lines when I make the story for this new one.

Union Cove seems like a good place to play a dynasty. Hmmm.
My dynasty is being temporarily abandoned. The reason? 25% laziness, 25% preoccupation with other Sims families, and 50% an upcoming move to San Antonio.

If you do start there, be aware that loading times could get unbearably long towards the end.

Most dynasties get unbearably long anyway. Schipperke's Clan Douglas Dynasty took 45 minutes to load for her in the end.

Yeah true, but if Juxt's Dynasty takes about 2 hours in Bridgeport, well I just think it would be extremly long in Union Cove.

Are genies allowed as potential spouses or helpers. My test genie has a longer life span then normal Sims I was wondering if that was the norm for genies.

Rachel

If they do indeed have longer lifespans, then no...we'd have to treat them like vampires, etc and ban them.

Just wondering, can people using the console version make a slightly altered version?? Cause I use the Sims 3:Pets on Xbox 360, and you can only have up to six family members.. Just wondering....

Has anyone looked at this? Please say YES becuse I kinda started making a dynasty on Xbox 360, but I won't have immortals...
Expansion packs I own:World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural and Seasons.

Stuff Packs I own: Outdoor Living, Town Life, High End Loft

Metro, can a immortal (ate ambrosia and deathflower) have the cowplant milk? Because they did eat ambrosia.

Isn't the only way to get cowplant milk is to have killed a Sim which is against the rules?

Just realised I've gone ahead without checking. Is the Dynasty Lot in Starlight Shores the 63x63 at the top of the world. I say this because the other 60x60 (?) Is taken up by the Equestrian Centre. I wrote down the name of the lot but it's not on me right now.

Hi,

I am a new member to this site. I just have to start with saying I absolutely love the site and I use it a lot for help. I also truely believe that Union Cove is the best sims 3 world ever! *tumbs up*

I have a question about this immortal dynasty challenge.
I have chosen the skill fishing for my founder. That skill has a challenge to catch all different kind of fish. I have all expansion packs, so also World Adventures. Does this mean I have to catch all kind of fish of China, France and Egypt too? If so, I am a little screwed  :( since I am not allowed to travel until my 2nd generation is young adult and they just have a baby...

(excuse me if my english is not completely correct, I am from Holland ;))
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D

Welcome to the forums Odie! I believe you have to catch a percentage of the fish depending which expansions you have. Since you have all of them, I think it's like 20 different fish. I read that in the guide here.

I was under the impression it was like the recipes challenge/ltw which only counts the base game ones. It is possible to get Generation 2 to YA before your Founder is even an Elder, just have them as soon as possible.

@Esther1981
Thank you for welcoming me!
I've read the guide you wrote about and I am so relieved now! Now I can continue with supermaxing the fishing skill.

@samoht04
Ok, that makes a lot of sense too. I also read in the guide that the challenges aren't suppose to be harder for people woth more expansion packs, which seems fair to me.
My founder will become an elder before his baby is an young adult by the way, because I waited to have children. I thought it was best to focus on career first. Just like in real life  :P

Thank you all! I am truly relieved now!  :D
