I thought so too - through various games I've been sent several of them as celebrity freebies, but I've never actually put them up because I wasn't willing to devote that much wall space to what I thought were fake fish.

I just received the FAQ PM from Pam and Chuckles_82. My thanks to both of you. It's a very long list, so before I publish anything and make a new sticky I want to try and shorten the list by going over the existing rules. This will take a little while so be patient.

I have the digital wall fish display, but I didn't know (and never tried) to get real fish from it. I'm pretty much at the end of my dynasty, it's not going to be a problem that I used them as decoration only, right? I just thought they were pretty, and nifty.

No, not at all. And if someone already did use that display to get a Deathfish, that's fine too. I should have the rewrite up tomorrow. Assuming I can tear myself away from Rift that long to finish up. I'm about halfway through it. They'll be longer, but I'm hoping it will eliminate the need for a FAQ too. Not sure. I'll go with what everyone thinks after they see the new ruleset.

I've had that wall aquarium sent to me before, it wasn't in my Dynasty but in one of my games I tried taking the deathfish out, but it just disappeared and didn't go into my inventory.

How exactly do you pull a Deathfish out of the digital aquarium.  I've never seen or done anything like that and I'm not sure it's really possible.  Was it absolutely confirmed before being banned?

I think you would just press remove fish - deathfish... it is possible that it just dissapears, as it doesn't have the little orange circle like the lights have... but maybe if you drag it...

In my experience, I tried to take it out, I didn't want to bother with fishing in that game, and it just disappeared. I couldn't use it.

It's electronic - the fish are fake. I'm sure of that.
