Widonja, I hate to sink your boat but I think there was a consversation a while back saying that even if you don't use it as a unique opportunity, no Immortal can have it anyway.
So if you remember Immortal 1 completing opportunity A, they could have also completed opportunity B. If opportunity B is completed be someone else, whether or not it's a part of Immortal 1's 6 BlackOps, Immortal 1's immortality would be canceled out.
I wish I could find those quotes, because I know they said it better than I just did.  :-\

I don't remember that one? I'm Okay in my Dynasty though, I've been saving Celeb stuff for emergencies and letting the Spouse/Spares do them. I've only had one Immortal do a Celeb Opp so far for his 6 Black Opps.

This sounded a bit confusing to me.  But what I think you're saying is that it's not enough to remember some of the opportunities that have been done.  You have to also know for sure that one hasn't been done so that another immortal can have it.  Is this correct, TallStar?

I'm going to jump in here with another question, before I forget to ask; for the careers that split (ex: Law Enforcement), would the two branches count as two separate careers?  Ex: Could I have one immortal max Law Enforcement as a Special Agent, and another max Law Enforcement as a Forensics Expert?

I'm guessing probably not, I'm just curious.

Yes, each branch counts as a separate career.

Oh!  Well, that changes my plans for later parts of my dynasty, and actually makes things easier!  Thanks!

That's exactly right Pam. I'm terrible at explaining things, sorry.

Like Pam said these are counted as two separate careers but  I would not recommend either of these careers for immortals. The forensic branch uses painting and logic skills and the special agent branch requires logic and athletic meaning your Sims would possibly max all those skills which in turn means you could not use any of those as a supermax skill for any other immortals.

It's definitely possible to do, though - I maxed the Forensics career without maxing Logic.

Hmm. . . I'll have to be careful, then, and thank you for the warning.  My Gen 2 is going for supermax Logic, so I was trying to find a career that both fit his character (as I can't see him as a doctor)  and used logic as a skill.  (That being said, I'm leaving open Athletics at this point, so we can see what happens.)

Does a pool count as a building or a property?

Yes. Buildings are the lots that have a rabbit hole structures. You cannot upgrade those lots. Properties are things like the beach, parks, fishing areas, pools, etc that can be accessed and upgraded.

As Metro said, most of the rabbit hole places are buildings; for example, the Diner, the Bookstore, Grocery Store, etc.

When you go on to purchase property on the computer it will tell you whether it is a building or property.
