Thank you Pam! By replacing Pinochle Point's free lots, we are at least able to add Aquarius, Brightmore, Waylon's haunt, and a few others, with the Grind on the other side of the town. That's cool about the Laundromat too. I've always liked that place. :)
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

I just read through the last few pages.  The answers given by others look good to me.  I'll try to address the rest of it.

1. You may use the World Editor to add and change lots in order to place the bars from Late Night.  This is one of the exceptions for using Edit Town.

2. You must use the same buildings that are found in Bridgeport.  No other buildings are allowed, either from the bin or ones you've built.  I wasn't able to fit all of the bars into Sunset Valley, but I got enough of them that I was able to complete the Mixology skill and all related journal challenges.

3. The Laundromat may be added to any town.

4. If the Logic skill journal challenges have changed, you'll have to complete everything that is currently part of the journal to SuperMax Logic.

You might still be able to retrieve a previous save.  Check this thread for instructions.

If I've missed anything, let me know and I'll give some more answers.  Thanks for your patience while Metro is on vacation.

I tried this, but as I was saying the last save was in China. After I went back into the backup file it still does it. So I think I just need to start over. Thanks Pam

So I've decided to start over in Sunset Valley. I have a question as I'm adding LN buildings. Is it okay for me to move O'Grady's Junk yard and place the studio there? Also can we place Subways anywhere? or are there only specific places for them?

I'm back. The family had an absolutely awesome experience at Wisconsin Dells. I'm quite sore from all of my attempts to keep up with the 3 girls on the water slides. They practically can run up to the top like monkeys.

Anyway...I think Pam covered most of what needed to be answered. If something is still unanswered, then hit me with it again.

O'Grady's Junk yard can go anywhere. Subways are only allowed in SV with the LN structures that include them.

I've started my dynasty! Yay! But I have another question. My Gen 2 heir got his imaginary friend doll. I saw reading back in this thread around the time Generations came out that they were okay to have around.  But do they count as one of the six best friends if you still have them hanging around by the time they're elder?

I remember this differently, Metro.  I thought we could place subways on any lot as long as the lot is owned by our Sims.  So, if my family owns Central Park, I can put a subway there.  Or at any other purchasable property.

Didn't we have the right to do anything and place anything in the lot our Sim owns? I believe subways fall in that category. But, personally, I hate subways. Sims get out of the limo to travel by subway. I mean, what the heck?

As long as it doesn't violate any of the other challenge rules.

Yes, you're correct, Pam. My bad. As long as the lot is owned by the Sim they can do whatever they want to it — i.e. place subways, etc.

I have two more questions.  First, in regards to the unique best friends: My founder claimed her son (Immortal #2) as one of her six.  Is he allowed to count her, since no one has counted her as a best friend?  Or is each relationship only allowed to be counted once, so he has to find six other than his mom, because she claimed him?

Second, in the stories section, if your dynasty is disqualified from the Hall of Fame (I have bug-fixing mods in my game that I'm unwilling to remove, even for a challenge) but you're playing in the spirit of the rules, can I still share my story there?  I really like how it's turning out and I thought people might enjoy the story even if it's not qualified to be in the Hall of Fame.

For your first question, yes I'm very sure your Immortal #2 can count Immortal #1 even though she has already claimed him.
For question two, I've seen a lot of Unofficial dynasties in the story board, so I don't see why not.

Yes, the son can claim the mom too.

Absolutely. Mods or no mods...you're free to share your story.

Hello everyone!

I have a question. Can I feed a toddler ambrosia since it does not affect his/her life stage (according to the website that is)? Would be nice to to have that +75 moodlet =)
