Okay, I see what I think is going on and Audren explained it well. Yeah, a Townie Young Adult and a CAS Young Adult will not necessarily age up to Adult at the same time.

Well, I've answered most of what I think affects this event, but I probably should make it a permanent part of the rule set. I'll see what I can do. ;)
Ok thanks metro! ;D

Also, My founder retired from being a firefighter, but his LTW was to save 30 people. If he already maxed out his career can he just save the amount of people he needs and then retire again?

Thanks in advance!

If he maxed the career, then he obviously does not need to max it again. I'm a bit confused as to why he retired if he still needed more Sims to save to achieve his LTW.

Yah that was my fault, I totally spaced out on that when he turned into an elder, I had him retire. Only until he was on vacation with his family did I realize that he still needed the job! ::)

Metro, my Sims recently had a burglar. Their property is totally surrounded with a fence that has no gate. There's a pathway leading to their front door. (With a section of fence on either side and a gap at the front)
What happened was that the burglar appeared inside the fenced area, so therefore couldn't steal anything. When my Sim called the police, the burglar vanished.

In the event that this happens again, and the burglar does not vanish when the police arrive, am I free to use TestingCheats/Resetsim/Alwaysallowbuildbuy to find a way to get him to leave?

All you can do is try.  Put him back in the Firefighter career and try to save more Sims.  Or change his Lifetime Wish if he has enough happiness points.  There may be one that he's already accomplished, even though it wasn't his wish, and it till trigger as soon as you make the change.

I may have missed something.  If there was no problem with the burglar leaving the property, why do you anticipate needing the cheat?

I'm wondering if that him vanishing through a totally fenced in area was a glitch. What if it was and he's back to normal next time?

@Seabody, I would allow the cheat if indeed a Burglar would ever become stuck on your property. But, as long as he's vanishing, there's no issue.

But Pam, I'm not aloud to use mid-life crisis LTR! :-X He already rejoined the firefighter career anyways so he will just finish up his LTW. I may keep him in this time after he is done so he can work on his retirement check. ;)

Pam was suggesting the Change LTW reward, not Mid-Life Crisis.

Metro, I can't remember if I asked this or not and if it was answered, I know I mean't to but I probably keep forgetting? So sorry if I have asked already. I just had this is one of my other games, not in my dynasty, When you have Teens in your Household the Adults can get that Trip for like 2 days, the Adults go off and their Icons are greyed out, then your Teens can throw the Teen Party and stuff, the Adults can return at any random time I think. If I remember correctly this was a Yes/No Opporutnity of do you want to send the Adults. Can we use this in the Dynasties? I think it might be a No but I'm not sure so that's why I am asking.  :)

Does clicking yes actually fill an opportunity slot?

No, that was probably a bad way to describe it. I mean't like when your sim gets a phone call you can either chat or not chat to the sim. It's like that.

It doesn't matter to me if the parents go off on a brief vacation. I thought you were wondering if this was an Opportunity that could fill a BlackOps slot. I'm assuming it's not a bonafide Opportunity.
