Okay.
I'm sorry if that came across as offensive.

Metro are you planning to add any more rules pertaining to the generations expansion?
When life gives you founders, you make an immortal dynasty!

Well, I've answered most of what I think affects this event, but I probably should make it a permanent part of the rule set. I'll see what I can do. ;)

I don't know what to do.
This happened just now in my Dynasty and earlier today in my Photography challenge file. What happens is, when I load a game, and unpause it (I usually save when the game's paused), my family acts as if I've reset them - they just blip to another place. It's a minor bug, sure, but I don't know if it's going to happen again - like when Generation 3 is being conceived. :-\
Is there any possible solution to this?
(It happened soon after I installed Patch 1.22. It does not occur when I start a new game.)

Hello Seabody,

The 'reseting' of Sims when you reload an old save after patching and/or installing a new EP/SP is absolutely normal and usual.

Then I hope my BBIII sims weren't doing anything... um... important.

Metro - There is a Reward called Inheritance from Generations and the Description says that the Purchaser will receive money from an unknown relative who died? Is that allowed or not? I have not tried it ever but someone else may know what it does?

I have no problem with it. I tested that out last week and received 30k simoleans. You obviously cannot start the Dynasty and have the happiness points to grab that reward — it's expensive at 30k points.

Okay Thanks! I don't really need the money but I still have a House to finish off and want to get the Funds Built up a bit.  :)

So... Christopher Steel moved into my new dynasty house and he is younger than my founder... he was a stylist before he moved in. Should I just age him up with my founder? Or should I figure out his real birthday and age him up then? Or just leave it be? ... Also how old is Connor Frio supposed to be? Hes even younger than Steel in my household and he was a YA at the beginning of the game..? Same thing with Chris? Age him up with my founder? Find out his real birthday?

What do you mean? Chris is at the very beginning of his YA Life Stage. He is supposed to come like that, you age him up when he ages up?

His real birthday? I'm not following you. Birthday cakes can only be used on actual birthdays — whatever that is. If the age bar says Chris ages up to Adult in 6 days, then you can use a cake in 6 days.

My founder should be the same age as Chris and she's older. By about a week. Same with Connor Frio. He's even a week younger than Chris. Meaning my founder will hit Elder before either of them which doesn't make any sense. It's a bug, but I'm curious if I should just let it be or age them up with her.

CAS sims usually start a couple of days into their life stage. Therefore, your founder usually will be older than Chris.
