As we are talking about the makeover stations, can we have it in the family inventory and use it only for the wardrobe remake right after the birthday cake? It doesn't confer any advantage, just making the new wardrobe and hairstyles simpler to do.
I asked this a month or so back, and the answer was no. If I recall correctly, the reason was because it's twisting the rules a little bit, and they need to be kept simple and the fact that others have finished their dynasties already and weren't allowed to use them.

But I'm sure Metro will let you know if that's changed.

Um, I accidently made a mistake and a had a roommate I moved in have a child with someone outside the household. If I move the father in will I still be able to go for the HoF or should I just do it unofficially? The mother has been visibly pregnant for only a day.

As has been discussed a few pages back, the rule "All offspring must result from natural pregnancies of Sims living in the Dynasty house." does not apply to Non-Immortals.

Here is Metro's post confirming this.

Thank goodness. I can continue without having six people by my second generation.

Correct. Makeover stations are out.

No simply because it is a cheat.
Well my sim's skin is completely black so can I use it to fix them?

What do you mean 'black'? Did you make them Black or is it a Glitch?

It's a glitch and it happened to the newborn baby and her mother.

Ah I see, well I hope I don't see it in my game! Have you tried reseting the Sims to see if that fixes it?

I did and they still have it. I think It might have something to do with the skin they had.

@Tommyo3000 — go ahead and use the CAS Edit Sim cheat to fix the skin.

Did you get rid of any custom skins? I've had this problem occur when I deleted the file that contained my sims' custom skin. Putting the file back should fix it, if you're not allowed to bring them back to CAS.

Arrgh! I'm so frustrated! Since installing and patching Generations all my Sims' photographs are gone! Every last picture still in the cameras - gone, pictures in a Sim's personal inventory - gone, pictures dragged into a Digital Frame - gone! The only ones I still have are the ones I grab-drag-hang on the walls. This means all the museum pictures for generations 1 through 3 are gone! (Pictures for gens 4 and 5 aren't in Digital Frames yet so they're safe.) I've spent the weekend uninstalling everything and reinstalling up to and including LN in an attempt to put my game back the way it was, so I could open that file and grab-drag-hang every picture up on a wall. But of course now I can't play the game because LN is incompatible with my base game because I don't want to install the Generations patch.

I'm open to any suggestions on reclaiming my museum picture values for my first 3 generations! The only thing I can think of is moving my game file back to the Mac and trying it there, but I think I've installed Generations there too. *Hops into the next chair to check* Yes, I have. :( I'll open an old, pre-move file of my Dynasty on the Mac and see if it's the same there (see if it's worth the effort to transfer the file). This is going to take a while, I'll be back.

Oh my, Lily! Turns out each EP brings a batch of new bugs! :o Now I wonder - should I install Late Night and Generations?
