4 Does Teaching, Fortune Teller, Pets Expansion Pack, Into the Future Expansion Pack or University Expansion Pack Careers offer any opportunities that qualify for black ops?
Not sure about any of the others, but I do know that the Art appraiser career gives at least 3 once you get to level 4 and can pick up side jobs (or whatever they are called), once accepted those ops are added to the regular business opportunity slot.
I admit I only found 3 during the small search I did, there might be one more, but there are definitely 3 different ones.

The Education career gives plenty of ops, and Fortune Telling has its fair share of ops too.

Can you send heirs to boarding school?
Continuing with the BlackOps theme, can 'Enroll In University' count as a BlackOps if only 1 heir goes to university?

You can send them to boarding school, but remember to get their museum pieces done first!

You don't have the accept the Enroll in University op to attend university. As long as only one heir accepts the op before enrolling in university and completes it as a part of their unique ops, you can still send anyone you want to university.

Castaras:
Got confirmation from Metro, the answer is "yes".  You can send a potential immortal to Oasis Landing to be "fast aged" if you want to, just make sure to adhere to the traveling rule for this dynasty -- no traveling till 2nd generation is YA.

Wonderful, thanks very much!

Question in relation to this - does it have to be the first immortal eating ambrosia before the second immortal eats ambrosia? Or could you have (potentially) all 8 immortals eating ambrosia at once for their first times?

Also, a question for people in general: My laptop has difficulty in running large savegames, especially in specific towns (Bridgeport, Hidden Springs are the ones that come to mind). What towns, both storebought and EP-wise, have people found run the smoothest?

How are you planning to keep the other immortals alive until then?

You can age somebody in the future, while the people in the present are frozen in time. Once that person is aged, send 'em back to the present. Then send back through only the next heir, and rinse and repeat.

Then you'd have 8 elders that all are the same age.

Thank you all for your help re ops. I should have sent Pug ConDoin to do Fortune Telling as his career instead of Business (after he maxed self employed alchemist), I can see. I'll be sure to send my alchemy supermax sim from the Oids to do Fortune Telling rather than Business for the ops.

I don't know how else you can lower the age bar for the immortals unless you eat one life fruit a day/every few days but that's a waste of life fruit. Ambrosia is the best way, you can't get a tattoo or a makeover before eating ambrosia so that's ruled out.

I don't think eating life fruit is allowed.

That would not be allowed.

Actually, you're not allowed to eat life fruit until after you've had ambrosia.  Part of the challenge is to keep the first 7 immortals going with ambrosia.  That's why you have to have some every 20 days.

Then I guess the answer is obvious, Castaras, you can't have all 8 immortals eat ambrosia for the first time together.
