No but you know and I know that Legolas fathered Aragorn and Boromir.    We know the bloodline is in tact so that's what matters.

Thanks so much, I nearly fainted!

Because the rules say these 4 things and adding the mud bath will be a fifth  :P

Don't know.  Always forget to ask.  May look into it.

I have to admit, I'd really love to see this reconsidered. It's not important, but it is kind of a shame not to be able to use that pretty premium content just for funsies while doing a dynasty.

It is already changed, friends.  ;)

I suppose I'll ask my question here: The thing that ended my first attempt at a dynasty was a glitch that had me uninstall and reinstall everything and my saved games were bad somehow.  Now, I am encountering the same thing again: the glitch where when I go into build mode and try to build a second floor, then go to live mode and save, it crashes while saving.  Someone mentioned that I can move the family out with house, bulldoze the lot, then place it back.  Is that allowed because of this glitch or will that affect HoF?

Also, I am curious on how properties and buildings work.  I haven't gotten to do much with the real estate, just a little bit in another file I had that was also lost.  I want to buy a property that I can make into a family graveyard.  Do I have to purchase something that's already a graveyard and just make a section for the family or can I buy a totally different property and turn it into a graveyard?  I know that they have to be upgraded with certain things and all that, so I'm not quite sure how it works with turning something into something different... sorry if that doesn't make sense... I'm a bit tired today from a long day at work XD

Moving the family in edit town to fix the building with seasons glitch is not an approved fix.  There are solutions that do not involve breaking the rules like not building a second story, changing placement of where you are building and not using foundations.

If I had known this was your glitch before, I would have warned you to make sure rain was off because its the biggest culprit.  Remembering to remove house lights helps, too.

As for the other part, it does not have to be a graveyard. Any purchasable property will work.  I used a fishing spot cross the street for one attempt.

Hm, ok.  Yeah, i wish I had done more research before with Seasons, but I was so excited when i got it, I didn't think to find out about the rain and what not.  I assume it is too late to disable rain since I started it already?  Otherwise, the only solution is just not to have a second floor I guess.  I didn't use a foundation at all so that's ok.  What's odd is that is allows me to go down to the basement (where the museum is) but not to a second floor heh.

Thank you.  I'll keep that in mind then.  ^^  Thanks for being so prompt with the response.  I am steadily learning that research and not jumping the gun is key to a Dynasty, particularly when it comes to problems/glitches.  If I had waited, talked to more people about said glitch, I never would have lost my first game.  I was just so impatient to play and at the time, the way I had built was very difficult to expand without building upstairs so I just wanted to fix it... well, I paid dearly for my impatience XD

You're welcome. How far are you in game? It might be worth it to restart.

*whimpers*  Gen 2 is a toddler.  I REALLY don't want to restart again.  Gen 1 is so close to Ambrosia... I had a heck of a time getting life fruit.  Then again, if I need to restart, I should do it sooner, rather than later... *sigh*

I failed and had to restart after Gen 2 was a Young Adult. I was glad because my settings were terrible and I forgot to add most of the venues I intended to. It was a blessing in disguise. I'd rather restart after two generations than suffer through eight generations with bad settings and glitches.

Yes, but on a restart, you will know where the seeds are, how long it takes to grow, putting a fence up to keep the zombies out of the garden, things like that.  Every time I've restarted, I've learned so much from the previous attempt that it made it a little easier.

Working around problems that the game throws up at you is one thing, but I think I'm with Rosa when it comes to bad settings and glitches.  What is annoying at Gen 2 can be game breaking at Gen 7.

I failed at Gen 5 on one attempt, so I understand.  Good luck, which ever way you choose.  ;)

Yeah, you guys have convinced me.  Restart, here we come!  Though tomorrow... it's after 2 am here and I had a long day at work XD  I am going to keep what I have so far and hope it isn't too different for story purposes.

As for the other part, it does not have to be a graveyard. Any purchasable property will work.  I used a fishing spot cross the street for one attempt.

I added a new empty lot and mark it as comunity "visitors allowed". I placed it near the Dinasty lot (I'm using Union Cove so can't build just next to it) and plan to buy it by Dinasty Founder as aditional property (i mean, it will not count for ambrosia requeriments).
