Have you tried resetting the toddler?

When you want to be something, the world can't define, open up your eyes.

I've got a question about photography.
My Founder's spouse has been trying to take pictures of her but she's maxed the cooking career so the subject is always 'Top Chef' rather than 'My Spouse'. Does this mean I'm not allowed to put the pictures with the subject of 'Top Chef' in the museum or is it ok?

The Top Chef counts.  :)

Can we use a witch or a ghost as our founder?

Yep, this came up recently and I'll just quote Rica's post:

So, I ended up in my dynasty with an odd bug where I've got a toddler that will not stop crying, no matter what I do. I've been told I mauy be able to fix this by putting the household in my clipboard and re-placing them at the same lot. Am I allowed to do this?

Reposting this. No amount of resetting fixes anything, and I'd like my sims to sleep again someday.

I didn't forget you - I was trying to find ways to fix it when something came up at home.  Does the child do it in a previous save or just the current one?  How old is your backup file?

Deme, have you tried moving them to the clipboard and back again. I know that Metro allowed me to do it my dynasty when I had the aging bug,so I shouldn't see that he would have a problem with it in your situation.

My backup file is shortly after she was born, so she probably does not do this there, since she didn't at the time.

Try rachel's suggestion about moving them to the clipboard & back.   If the baby still wants to cry, I would suggest going back to an earlier save.  I hate for you to lose progress but it may be the only way to get rid of the glitch.

Way back on page 198:

Ghosts could join the household if your Sim is able to befriend one at the cemetery and invite it to come live in the house.

This ruling greatly helps my dynasty strategy, but I guess I'll ask a question.

Is there a restriction to which ghosts you can move in? Are all ghosts fair game for moving in (for example, if I missed my chance on getting Gunther Goth as a spouse and wanted to use his ghost after he died)? Or am I limited to ghosts that start the game dead and buried?

Ghosts from the start of the game because they haven't actually lived yet.  Technically you would be extending the life of Gunther Goth by doing it after his death and that's against the rules for everyone but immortals who have met their requirements.
