The Sims 3 Immortal Dynasty Challenge

No offense taken, Rica. I didn't go into full details of how I did it. I only use the bait if I need a specific fish to finish the "20 types" challenge or if I want a better fish so I can max the fishing career earlier. My sim who supermaxed as an adult had also raised 4 children since he's the family oriented sim so he got toddler skill duty and the other adults were all tasked with painting, sculpting and photography.

The fish from World Adventures won't be available in any regular town.  A couple of vacations at a fairly high level of fishing skill would be helpful.  Also, if you get Collection Helper with happiness points, you'll be able to see every fishing spot.

Oooh, I had forgotten about the Collection Helper! I will be focused on getting the more need-related LTR's first of all, and then hopefully managing to grab the Food Replicator for the ambrosia, so I do hope I'll be able to rack up enough points in time for that as well, although probably not. It'll definitely come in handy though, so it'll be the next hing on my list!

Suddenly I get 19000 money for nothing.
Can I use the cheat to remove the 19000?

This may be a complete "duh" question. In my Dynasty, I experienced a glitch to where I could not select the different household members. As a last result, I opened a new game file and put the entire household (complete with house) into the new game file in the same town on the dynasty lot. I can now select the characters again. What I'm asking is this...does this mean I've failed the challenge? If so I'll just start over.

Edit: If anyone knows how to fix the original file then please let me know how to in the Tech Help Thread I started. I still have the original file.

I had that happen and I asked Metro. He says that it's fine to keep it. Granted, I don't think mine was quite that much.

Metro can confirm, but this was a bonafide technical malfunction of your game, so your solution should be ok.

This is probably the glitch that pays you the cost of one of the cars.  It's just an odd little glitch and you can keep the money.

I still have the other file. If there was a way to correct it then I'd be happy to do it. Nothing I do seems to work. It's really puzzling and odd. It's the only game file doing this. My other games are just fine. Thanks for answering Pam.

Okay, my new Dynasty is going pretty well (1st gen immortal, 2nd gen well on her way to eating Ambrosia, 3rd gen is a toddler), but I just got hit with the glitch where I can't get portraits, because my painter spontaneously drops the action after I take the snapshot. How do I fix this? I really don't want to start over because of this irritating glitch...

Have you tried replacing the easel or doing with with a different painter with the same results?

I replaced both easels, and it didn't work with another painter.

I had this problem with my Smith Dynasty,I fixed it by saving and restarting the game.
