The founder has to come from CAS so if you had a CAS copy of Fauna which only saves the DNA Looks and traits etc. In my Dynasty No 4 I have taken the 4th Gen Spare as my new founder. Shannon was only a child but I aged her using CAS.

I do have a copy of her saved with CAS. I exported the family put them in another non-legacy game. Then saved the twins with CAS.

Oh wow. No Pam, I didn't come to Metro when Penny went from YA to Elder, and I'm not going to him now for one reason. I am a cheater, I've cheated big time in my Dynasty, and I even said in my Dynasty thread I'm not going for HoF. The only reason I brought it up was I'm trying to follow the rules the best I can, and I didn't even realize I had broken this one.  :( Although it makes me sad cause I thought I was doing good, it really doesn't change anything! Thanks for answering so quickly though! I'll just have to remember this if I ever do go for HoF. Haha as if.  ;D

Maybe you could just start following this rule starting now and going foward.

True. When they don't get alot of ops, I freak out and start completing them, just to make sure they get their 6. I guess though it's supposed to be scary lol.

Yes, it's definitely a big part of the strategy when playing this challenge.  You ended up shooting yourself in the foot, though, with the panicked reaction.

That is why it helps to keep your black ops restricted to that Sim's career/skill.  If only one Sim is doing painting, make all their black ops painting opportunities.  Then as i understand it, as long as their 6 black ops remain unique from their skill/career, then it shouldn't mater what other ops they do.  Or am I to understand that a Sim can only do six opportunities period?

They just have to have Six Opportunities that No Other Immortal has or Will Do. Say your Founder did the Celebrity Opportunity of Present Check to School. If you counted that as their Black Opp then No Other Immortal can do it. I keep the Celebrity ones Free though, plenty of others to go around that you won't accidentally do. I pick Opportunities that are to do with my Sims Skills and Career as well.

If Immortal 1 does, say, Celebrity Body, but does not count it as a BlackOp, then can Immortal 2 do it as well if they also do not claim it as a BlackOp?
Can Mortals complete Immortal's BlackOps?

None of this has happened to me, but still, it might come up soon. Did I just jinx myself? :-\

No, they can't. I thought this was the case when I started out.
The Black Ops must be opportunities that no other immortal sim has completed.

That question wasn't about black ops, but non black op opportunities.  Like how everyone one of my characters does the drink for money and dance for 3 hr ops but none will ever claim it as a black op.  I don't think that's a problem, I certainly wouldn't think so.  Geez, I hope it's not a problem!

Edit: After rereading the rules I think these non black op would be the same as a skill that all Immortals have maxed out, it's fine as long as none of them ever claim it for a requirement.

Oh right, I misread that question, sorry.
I think they're allowed to do the same opportunity as long as it's not counted as a BlackOp.

Why did I think that an opportunity completed by one immortal can't be accepted by the other is out of my mind. Thanks for the clarification.

Well, this actualy is correct. It all depends on if you're talking about BlackOp or non BlackOp opportunities - that's an important distinction.

No Immortal can even accept an opportunity that is a BlackOp for another Immortal - even if it isn't a BlackOp for them.

When we are talking about non BlackOp opportunities however; anyone can do them. They work just like "spare skills", there are no restrictions.

Ah, so it works only for BlackOps?
