I just had my Founders Spouse and the Generation 2 Heir and Spare be the Painters. Spouse did the Gen 2 Portraits till he died and then the Spare did the Sisters Elder Portrait. Now I don't need any more painters to do portraits as I have a Supermaxed Painting Immortal who does them for me! It's easier that keep having to train someone to do them and this way the later portraits will be worth a lot more! I'm into the §3,000 for a Medium Paintings now. I don't know what the Founders first Portrait is worth!

On another note I was thinking how this time around nothing I was going to do went to plan really and yet I am ready for a Third Immortal yet my other tries never got one Immortal! Typical!  ;) I also might start another side Dynasty, just because I want to get some things to happen and see if that plan works better that my usual.  :)

Again to make shore something is within the rules. My founder have a LTW to save 30 Sims from fire. In guide, Tom fulfill it in 5-6 weeks, but stated that it is very random as how often large fire house is spawned, and how many Sims live in those homes (one disaster per day, 4 working days, and if lucky 2-3 large fires appear per week, but usually only one Sim need to be saved from fire). Now, only 5 working days before his elder birthday, he saved only 15 Sims, and I'm a bit worry, so if by some chance my founder doesn't get to fulfill his LTW in time, can I use Change LTW reward? In rules only Midlife crisis is forbidden, but this is very similar so I feel like I need to ask.

Yes, you can use happiness points to change the LTW.

Thank you Pam :D I'll try to get this one fulfilled, until 85 days old, later than that I can't risk, so he'll get some already achieved LTW to fulfill. Huh, at least I don't have to worry about restarting cause of this.

Redeesha will be an elder soon and I'm panicking a bit but not really worried. She has the ability to catch her angel fish but for the Dynasty...she needs the fish and the fruit and in Barnacle Bay, I have no idea where to even start having her search for them. Her attempts at fishing with Angel fish in most of the areas and there aren't any public gardens. I've heard there are lots that have the death flower or life fruit bushes and trees...I'm at a loss.

There is a fishing spot near the Founder's Beach that spawns Deathfish from 12:00 AM - 5:00 AM. Though, it might be a bit tricky getting there since it's surrounded by rocky shores. As for the Life Fruit, there are a few households that have the plant itself growing. Harvest these and voila, you have all the ingredients! I don't know the names of the households, you'll have to search that one yourself, sorry. :) Hope this helps.

The family is the Coastal family.  They have 24 life fruit plants.

Thank you all for the information. It is very amusing that it turns out one of Redeesha's best friends, was one of the families with a messload of life plants in their backyard. Fish, Fruit, yay! Now...for getting somebody good enough to cook it. I have to get her ready though. I'm trying to check off on things to make sure she's meeting her requirements but I keep getting stuck. When it comes to opportunities, how do you 'formally' keep track of those?

I write down every opportunity I get. When I finish it, I put a tick next to it. If I fail to complete it, I cross it off. That way I've got a list of every opportunity my sim has completed when it comes time to eat the ambrosia.

I do like that too, except my game gives me opportunities that require traveling, even at Gen 1.  :-\

...and while I've also been writing them down and checking them off like that, I simplified things for myself by having the immortal candidates only accept skill opportunities related to their supermax skill, so I shouldn't have to do a lot of cross referencing to see "is that someone else's black op?" when something pops up. School and celebrity opportunities are never black ops in my dynasty, on the assumption that everyone will eventually get most of them.

(This only kind of worked out for my third generation. First generation has a list of accepted opportunities as long as my arm. Second generation has a list of accepted opportunities as long as my arm, and is now getting some of them a second time. Third generation...had five. She kept getting offered charisma opportunities instead of cooking, and even though I declined them, that's a wasted phone call.)

Are you using the online spreadsheet I made for this?  The link is on the first page in the rules (near the bottom).

What I do, is I have a copy of a spreadsheet (not Pam's, sorry Pam :(), and a printout. When my sim completes a BlackOp, I'll write it down onto the hard copy, then when my playing session is done, I'll write it onto my electronic copy. When there are 6 BlackOps, I colour the column red.
