I am probably getting a new computer soon, and I wanted to know if I can legally transport my file to a new computer.

That's perfectly fine.

I've seen people start out with a human sim, and a cat or dog sim. Is creating a horse sim to go with your human sim alright?

Horses are fine too. It's just easier to start with a cat or dog. :P

Not when you want to start a dynasty with horse riding as the unique skill =P

Hi, so I just got IP and was wondering if Mermaid was a banned life state within the household/banned from heirship. Obviously they can't do the scuba skill but are they okay otherwise?

Perfectly fine otherwise, as their lifespan is the same as a human's lifespan.

Weird question, I know.

Can I throw a mummy elixir at a townsperson? I know you can't do it on members of your own household, but I've never played a mummy so I don't know if it extends their lives. If it didn't it would probably be allowed, right?

Mummies have lengthened lifespans, in the same way that Simbots do (i.e. they don't age and tend to live for a while). So no.

Does this challenge have anything to do with this?

I think you need to remove the .m from the link - it didn't work with that in.

I think that it would certainly make a cool premise for a story!

I think I did read a story with that premise here. I just don't remember whose it was.

that .m means it was linked to on a mobile device.

My Grammar family has had its most recent save game become corrupted. The saved game icon picture is all distorted with half the family missing, one of the family members appearing as a black blob and the ones who look simlike doing the whole long stick like arms and legs. May I return to the prior saved game file for it, which was from 5 days ago?
