Yes, you can get the LTR only when the household is full.

As for the Shutternut challenge, it is known to be very difficult. I know we've allowed it to be counted in the past even when the journal has trouble registering it. Did you get any screencapped proof of its completion? The journal will still show sets as complete even when Shutternut isn't registering, so if you can get proof that she completed five sets, I'm perfectly okay with letting you count it as done. :)

Thanks for that re My Best Friend.

Thank you also re shutternut, finally I got the shot of it. There are two pictures which follow. The first one shows the first screen of the photographic skill journal. You will note it shows next to shutternut that '3 are completed so far'.

The second one shows the listing of photographic collections available. It shows that 5 of the collections have been completed, namely:
- Plants & Flowers
- Architecture & Building
- Home Sweet Home
- Still life
- Around Town

Is that sufficient?

As a consequence of the first part of the journal not counting that particular skill challenge as completed, it is still charging me for photographs, but with the insane amount of simeloens my family has, the 60 odd a shot it is costing doesn't really matter.

That's exactly what I wanted. :) I'll sign off on counting it, but anyone is allowed to give a second opinion.

Thanks again.

My sims seem to be age stuck at 2 days from elderhood. It is after 4:00am on Wednesday week 13, and Gen 2, her spouse and inlaws are still at 2 days from elder , same as on Tuesday, Gen 3 and friends are currently at 15 days from Adult.

EDIT: As mine was the last post, I decided to edit this post rather than make a new post. The Grammers are all currently age stuck with the following details.
- My founder is immortal and currently at 71 days.
- My generation 2, her husband as well as two others have been at 2 days to elder for at least 2 days now (ie they should all be elders.)
- My generation 3 and her husband and friend are all Young Adults. Although they were all the same age during primary and secondary school, my Generation 3 is now 1 day younger than the other two. She is now 16 days from being Adult and the other two are 15 days from being Adult.

They have travelled overseas to China, France and Egypt. Generation 3 as well as her husband and friend have all gone on three trips. her parents have gone on two trips and her inlaws have gone on one trip. Founder hasn't gone on any trips.

I am playing with no custom content and clear caches frequently (as in each time I stop playing)

I am in week 13 and I did think that this week something was sure to happen.

If I recall rightly previously when this happened people were advised to save family/household to bin and place it down again or something along those lines.

Age stuck, ugh.

1) Yes, try saving family/household to bin and place it back down again to see if that fixes the aging bug.
2) The other option is to move town.

Trip, do you have any other suggestion as to how to fix this?

I've run into a similar issue a lot, where an adult's age will "stutter" two days before their elder birthday. They'd stay at two days to elder for an extra day, and then age normally from the next day onwards.

Though your description makes it sound like they're legitimately stuck. I'd recommend moving them out and back in again through Edit Town, like Nutella suggested, then we can talk about more drastic measures.

I'm considering making one of my heirs Unstable down the line and I have a question. Will I be able to let her/him go through the trait changes or is that banned?

Trait changes using midlife crisis is banned for heirs.

"Mid-Life Crisis reward(this is the reward purchased via lifetime happiness points not the mid-life crisis wishes that pop up for a Sim if you have generations installed) is banned for immortals, but not non-immortals."

Yes, I know about the Midlife Crisis rule, but the Unstable trait makes it so you change traits randomly from time to time. That's sort of the point of the Unstable trait. You get a moodlet and unless you go take care of it you randomly change traits in a while. I saw that it's banned in Life States dynasty but since we get to choose the traits in Immortal Dynasty and the change is random, I thought the ruling might be different for this challenge.

To me, it feels like Immortals not changing traits is the spirit of the dynasty.  If your sim rolls the unstable trait, you will have to do the paperbag or hospital so they don't change their traits.  Let's see what the other moderators feel about this.

I agree with Nutella. Immortals never changing traits is definitely the spirit of the challenge. It just kind of goes along with the whole philosophy of immortal - never ending, unchanging.

Just wanted to let you all know (and particularly Nutella and Trip) that moving the Grammar family to the bin and returning them to their home seems to have done the trrick!  8) It has clicked over to the next day and each member of the family have advanced their age by 1.

Thank you ladies for your help.

Hi, guys, so I have a problem. When I moved in a new pollinator, I moved in his cats as well. The kittens have just grown up, however their age bars say that they have 40 days until aging up. I thought that was weird so I went to the backup file and it says that the normal Pet lifespan should be 28 days. Anyone have any tips about what to do?
