Happy birthday, girls, they all grew up ever so pretty. Congrats of supermaxing gardening - I choose cooking over gardening thinking it would be faster, but that proved to be wrong.

Lol, that doesn't mean that I hate her. I just feel a little uncomfortable with one of her hair style when you do makeover thing that's all. I don't mind if you do all the same, but it's your choice. Sorry, just want telling what's on my mind. Please don't be angry okay :P

Oh, yeah you probably wanna check out the first image in the first page that you post, one image is missing. You gotta do something about that \(~_~)/

Now, for the comment...

Congratulations for Supermax Gardening! It's hard to supermax this skill? I have a plan that this will be the one of my heir supermax for future generation. Too bad, that Darren didn't make it, oh poor Aurora. At least that he achieved Ice Personality though.

See? I don't mind for Chloé to have that hairstyle. Just another hairstyle and I don’t know why I dislike that hairstyle (-_-)

Oh all the girl are grown up already into teenager! Zoey is lovely as always, well too bad that she didn't have a chance to show in this story more often.  Good luck with your love life, Aurora. And seeing Chloé as teenager is not bad either, for the unknown reason I can feel a rebel side from her XD
Oh, I didn't take it wrong at all. xD I personally prefer Zoey and Aurora as well, myself. Chloé got a bit more of Darren's features (the nose and the mouth, for example) and they... don't really look good on a female Sim. I like the fact that she looks different of course, and that's fun to work with. But... I don't think she'll be a beauty queen when she ages up to YA. And I'm not angry. If I could stand CAS (or going to the mirror at least) a little better, I'd give them all different hairstyles. But I lack the patience. And my game tends to crash if I spend too long trying to decide what hairstyle to give my Sims or what clothes they'll wear. xD

I hadn't noticed the missing image. Oops! Ah, thanks for telling me, and I'll fix that ASAP.

I found gardening to be pretty easy to Supermax. It all sort of just... happens all by itself. xD Even without the Super Green Thumb reward. The Gatherer trait and the Green Thumb traits are enough. If you have the Stone Throw Greenhouse from the Sims 3 Store, it comes with a Sunflower, which drops Sunlight. I have to say, Sunlight makes an amazing fertilizer. xD

As far as the ice sculptures, I'm not really worried. I'm not aiming for a high museum value--I just want to finish. It's a challenge in itself.

Chloé's teen hairstyle isn't one I've used often... As in, it's the first time I use it xD. But I thought it was fitting somewhat. And you're right, I too see her as a bit of rebel... even without the rebellious trait. Haha. The hairstyle just seemed to fit the sort of personality I imagined for Chloé. She's a bit of a troublemaker, to be honest. If I leave her alone for too long, she goes around and places pranks and traps everywhere.

Happy birthday, girls, they all grew up ever so pretty. Congrats of supermaxing gardening - I choose cooking over gardening thinking it would be faster, but that proved to be wrong.
How challenging is Cooking to Supermax? Generation 3 will probably aim for cooking, so I'm just curious. xD

I don't think it's hard since you have to cook one meal a day - if everyone has the hardly hungry reward - but I was panicing when my life fruits died and wanted to make sure those were taken care of first.

Oh, okay! Thank you for point me out. Facing something unknown sometimes make me scared to do something new. It's so glad to hear that supermaxing Garden is not a threat. I can rest peacefully when next generation come XD

I also don't think supermaxing cooking is hard. It's just about patience and time. My founder has cooking as his supermax and he has natural cooks, if you're looking for recipe for free just lurking around see co-worker who has natural cooks trait as well to gain their recipe by using "Trade Kitchen Secrets" interaction. I gain 2 new recipes each day, having my founder lurking around co-worker house just for two recipes and it's pretty neat and it’s instant learning, you don’t need to read a whole book and wait for the progress. It’s such a time saver and he finished all of the challenges when he reaches Adult life stage. ^^

Chapter Seven
« Reply #34 on: October 30, 2013, 06:51:54 PM »
I wish I could say my daughters’ teenage years were exciting and filled with adventures. To be honest though, they were rather... ah, boring. It’s unfortunate to say, I know. But the girls’ days all seemed to be happening all the same way. On weekdays, they went to school, where they spent most of their time meeting new friends or chatting with their existing friends. Aurora got bored too easily in class because what they were taught was ‘too easy’, according to her. I think school was more challenging for Chloé and Zoey, but they had their big sister to help them out at night.

Aurora spent a lot of time with that boy, Peter Shaw. Most times, she simply tutored him, but once in a while, they would hold hand and give each other sweet looks. I asked Aurora about it, but she simply blushed and mumbled something about potions and lack of time.

All three girls went to Prom. I had a picture of all three of them leaving, I’m sure but... I seem to have misplaced. Or, most likely, Zoey had taken it to put in her scrapbook. When she’s not painting at her easel or learning to sculpt, that’s usually what she’s doing. She’s quite the artist.

In any case. Prom was interesting for the girls. Chloé got into plenty of fights--mostly, it seems, because she was defending her sisters. Zoey got into a fight as well. Aurora was better behaved, thankfully. All three were rejected for dances with their crush. Aurora, my sweet darling Aurora, won prom queen! She says it was unexpected.

“Mom, I didn’t even want to win” she told me. “It’s just some ridiculous beauty contest based solely on the appearance of someone.”

“And their popularity!” chimed Zoey.

“That too. What’s the point, really?”

Secretly though, I truly do think Aurora was pleased. After all, her crown now rests in her museum.

“It’s still a good memory of my childhood” explained Aurora with a bit of a blush and a casual shrug of her shoulders.

I think their prom night was quite romantic as well, despite being rejected for dances. None of them told me, but I did hear them whispering. It seems like all three of them returned home with secure romantic interests. Aurora’s was Peter Shaw, who she continues to see fairly often. Zoey and Chloé refuse to tell me who their interests are. I often hear Zoey talking to hers on her phone though.

“Zoey! Go talk to your boy toy somewhere else!” I’ve heard Chloé shout a few times. “I’m trying to learn here!”

A few days after prom, Peter Shaw became a Young Adult. Aurora still spoke to him, but their budding relationship was put on hold. They hadn’t made anything official yet. Aurora says they haven’t kissed yet. With Peter now busy with a new job, Aurora had to find herself a new person to tutor. She took to a little girl, Alexa Shelley, who spends a lot of time at our house simply being tutored by Aurora. My daughter said she enjoyed doing it quite a bit, and she gained a new friend in the process.

Aurora’s teenage hood went by quickly. So quickly in fact, that her birthday slipped by us completely. She didn’t remind us either. She had her birthday alone, in the middle of the street. She wasn’t exactly happy with the results.

She went to the mirror as soon as she got home.

Welcome to adulthood, Aurora! You’re still young though, so please don’t get too stressed out!

Haha, I see. It's good that it's not too hard. xD And yeah...  I can see how that would be stressful.

Oh, my! Look at her a young adult already and she's so pretty! Congratulations for being a Prom Queen!
I hope that Peter Shaw is the one and only for her.

Yeah, me too! I'm curious who is the lucky man for the both girls :D

I believe that I haven't comment here for two chapter. Oh, my.

Well, Aurora is pretty as young adult! Nicely done for her makeover. Zoey is lovely. Chole looks like a rebel, I love it and I hope that there will be a fight or she leads rebellious things, haha. Just kidding! Or she can play something about street art, play with megaphone or something related. She's surely perfect for rebel social group candidate!

I just want to know about who the boys that the girls will date!

Haha, yeah. I was surprised by how bad it was. I have a picture of one of her work clothes... I think it was worst. But thanks! I'm glad you like the makeover. And she really is quite pretty.

I will let everyone know... soon. xD I honestly just forgot their names when I was writing this chapter. Now it'll just be a surprise~

Haha, thanks! ^^ Peter Shaw did give me some trouble at some point. Or well... I caused myself some trouble over Peter Shaw. xD

Thank you. Chloé hasn't gotten into too many fights... Well, except for Prom. As for te rebel stuff, I hadn't even thought of it! After reading your comment though, I had her take up Street Art. Just on the side and just for fun--she focuses mostly on Cooking--but it really does fit.

Chapter Eight
« Reply #40 on: November 03, 2013, 07:10:01 PM »
The first thing Aurora did once Young Adult was head to Aleister’s Elixirs and Sundries and purchased it. See, her Lifetime Wish is to become a Chess Legend, but she hasn’t been able to even get started on it because her first opponent was the clerk there. After purchasing the place, she upgraded it with a chess table and some chairs. Then she proceeded to win her first match while explaining to him the delicate balance of certain ecosystems.

I’m so proud of my not-so-little-anymore girl.

Graduation was the next day. We all went together of course. Due to her excellent grades, Aurora graduated with the Highest Honors, and was Valedictorian. She was also voted Most Likely To Take Over the World by her classmates.

“Fitting I suppose” she said to me afterwards. “I will live forever after all. But I’m not too interested in politics...”

Indeed, since she applied at the Hospital soon after.

That evening, Aurora called Peter Shaw to our home, ready to take their relationship to the next level. I think she did all the right moves--and no, I wasn’t watching from the window... She flirted, she complimented him. But when she went to kiss him for the first time...

That’s right! Rejected! Aurora’s reaction wasn’t very nice or understanding. She got angry at him, and promptly ended things with him. She didn’t yell though. She didn’t scream. She appeared cool and collected, and she was very straight-forward about it all.

But when she was back inside, she was heartbroken and crying. I didn’t talk to her. Zoey and Chloé went to her first, and I left them alone. The next day though, Aurora hardly looked happy. It was her first day at work, and she had to go with a broken heart and a bad uniform. Separately, it might have looked alright but all together...

Aurora wasn’t pleased.

She changed the moment she got home--without a raise or anything of the sort. Not a good day for her. She did invite someone from work to chat. I don’t even remember his name. They chatted, but there wasn’t much attraction there. They were also interrupted because...

Yep. Darren and I are now old farts. Depressing isn’t it? Darren kept the white hair. I dyed mine. I couldn’t get quite the same color, but that’s alright. I like it none the less.

To celebrate, we went to Champs Les Sims.

Darren and I visited and looked around, not really focusing on finishing any missions or whatever. We simply wanted to enjoy our first trip abroad together. Aurora came along, having a Opportunity to finish. She did that pretty quickly, and spent the next three days chatting to many different people. All boys, might I add. I think she was looking for someone she was attracted to. Her thoughts though, were always on that Peter Shaw.

Which is probably why she invited him home after work, the day after we returned. Not the smartest idea she’s ever had--and that’s saying a lot considering what a genius she is. They chatted. She apologized, he forgave her, but they didn’t speak about getting back together. Yet...

Oh, darling Aurora. I truly hope you figure things out soon. And that the boy you marry, whoever he is, eventually decides to wear something other than what he graduated in. Wasn’t he supposed to return that to the school after the ceremony?

IS Aurora and Peter relationship bar not sufficient? Usually my Sims never rejected their first kiss, unless they do something make them both feel awkward. Aww, to bad their romance ended just because Peter didn't want to kiss her. Maybe Aurora mouth kinda stingy and he didn't tell that to Aurora because he didn't want to hurt her feeling. Well, make sure to brush your teeth next time before kissing, Aurora ;)

You seem dislike for having an Elder at home :P Well, it happens to me when I first playing The Sims. I usually avoid nooboo and Elder, because they are so annoying and I kinda hate them. But, it seems I already get used by it and feel it's no big deal. I hope that you'll get used too ;)

It's a good screenshot for closing time though. Hope that they will really end up together. Aurora finally brush her teeth before kissing and yeah he's cannot resist this time ::)

Their relationship was completely green. If they weren't Romantic Interest, their 'status', or whatever it's called, would have been Best Friends. So I seriously have no idea what happened. Im guessing it was Peter's mood or something. Maybe something was too much in the yellow. I didn't noticed any bubbles though, but I might have just missed it.

Or, like you said, maybe Aurora's breath was a little funky. Haha.

As for their relationship ending, I really should have kept them together right from the start. But Peter's traits (the ones I knew anyways) weren't exactly great: Lone, Absent-Minded and Slob. Blergh. But Aurora kept rolling wishes having to do with him, even after they 'broke up', so I figured I'd give them another chance.

Haha, I don't mind Elders. But I don't think Joanie would be too happy to be getting older. xD As for Noobos, I don't like the infant stage, but I love the Toddlers. So cute! Although I would like them even more if we had more hair styles and clothes for them.

Thanks! Their first kiss was with the "Heat of the Moment" kiss. Which is probably what explains the broken heart bubbles. xD It kinda made me laugh. I seriously hadn't expected it to work.

Well, you can always change Peter traits. There is a Lifetime Reward that can change traits, yes? And well, you can use I forgot what it's name, but it's usually use at Technology degree to change traits easily without spend any Lifetime happiness points ;)

Even Peter gives Aurora second chance to fix her mouth problem, bwahaha. So, why not? Bad traits can be changed, but Sims bad looks and you can't do anything without it even with any kind of makeover, well it's another case ::)

This chapter is amusing, especially when you see unexpected comment that ruin your perfect story and ruin Aurora image. I feel sorry for you, melonBANANA :P

Poor Aurora, not only does she not get her first kiss, she has to wear something so ugly to her first day at work! I'm glad they reconciled =D
