Pet Adoption Center Located In a Household?
« on: October 21, 2013, 12:56:22 PM »
I have no idea how it happened, but for some reason the pet adoption is now located in one of my Sims homes, which means I can't visit there or adopt animals! I have no idea how to fix this at all. Help?

Don't think you can fix the pet adoption house bug, however you can adopt pets using your phone or newspaper.  Have you tried these 2 options?

Welcome to our Forum, alyssaswoon.

You might be seeing the Neighborhood Pet Adoption.  Much of the time, someone in town will have pets to adopt and there will be a map tag showing where the neighbor lives.  You should still be able to visit the house, though, and still be able to adopt pets from the shelter using the phone, computer, or newspaper.

This happens quite a lot in my towns.  When I change active households, I will see another one of my sim households that the dog or cat has had babies, but if I change households back to that one, there is no puppies or kittens.  I think that is just the way the game is coded, so you can adopt somewhere besides the phone. :)

Thanks for the replies! Now I'm not so confused about the pet adoption, haha. :)
