Installed master controller, game wont start?

I installed and then extracted master controller with winrar and put the package file in the packages folder.

My game will not start unless i delete it from the folder. It gets to the loading screen and then it closes after 2 minutes and i get this message box "Sims 3 is not working".   What did i do wrong? my patch version is 1.21.123.011017. and i'm playing generations.

You need the correct version of Master Controller to match your version of the game. Your game needs to be patched to at least version 1.29 but it would be better to patch up to the latest version. It gives you the option to update when you launch the game.

Note that the most recent patch level is patch 1.63 (released yesterday). MasterController is not yet compatible with this patch. Twallan is currently working on updating his mods. You can see his progress here: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/State+of+the+Mod

When you run the game select Game Updates but as NonaMena said wait for Nraas to be updated

If you don't know how to manage having a mod in your game, I suggest you remove it.  They aren't to be toyed with and can cause a lot of problems if you don't handle them properly.

There are a lot of reasons MC can be causing a launch failure. The main one is you have the Integration addition to that mod and not have Story Progression installed.  But as I said there are many reasons possible. Perhaps you should go to Twallan's site and post in the chatterbox area there with your question.
