Featured Looks (new Sims 3 Store Category)

The Sims 3 Store has a new link/feature added.  They are calling it Featured Looks, showcasing some rooms put together, showing what one can do with the sets.

Are you looking for a little inspiration for your Sims’ homes? Head over to our Featured Looks and see how we chose to design our rooms. These are handpicked and arranged by the Store team, representing some of our favorite looks! We’ve gathered some of our store’s favorites to put together a few signature looks.

You can buy the entire look in one set. If you already own some of the pieces in the Featured Look, don’t worry – just use the Complete Your Set feature to grab the rest at a discount! Want to show us your designs? Head over to the forums and share yours with us!

The Sims 3 store has a new Featured Look, this time called The Monarch Suite. 

Bear in mind this isn't new content.  It is old content put together into a themed room.

Normally for sale for 1300 SimPoints, it is on sale for 1100 SimPoints.

Something else to bear in is if these look interesting, you may be able to finish them with the Complete Your Set feature.

That is a very useful feature sunshine_2406.  Hopefully they have that feature with the next one due out soon.

As shown on SimGuruTatertot's twitter feed, they are going to have a new Featured Look building.  This time, a villa called Paraiso.

The Parasio Villa doesn't have Complete Your Set.  It really stinks since I already own essentially all the items and just want the blueprint/lot (I'm a rather dismal builder).

Do they not just upload the lot on the exchange as well, for people who have the items?  If not, what would be wrong with someone who has the Villa just saving it to the bin and uploading it?  You would still need the items for it to look right, and surely the Sims 3 Store is charging for the items only, and not the design of the building, which would be easily copyable just by looking at the pictures.

Edit:  Complete Your Set is now be working (It worked for me just a few minutes ago).

Nope, the only way to get the lot, at least initially, is to purchase it via the store. 

And as for uploading it, it might be possible.  I don't know if EA would have a way to track it.  For that matter, as you pointed out, a person with the items could build the lot from the ground up as well...

You should check again to see if it's discounted.  I just clicked the link, and I have a deeply discounted price of 1,655 simpoints because I own 15 of the items.  It may be that they hadn't implemented complete-your-set yet when they first put the featured look up.
