The Chant Immortal Dynasty - Failed (Graveyard please)

I just finished reading this.  I really loves Midnight Hollow atmosphere, so dark, unique and different.
Kara is indeed an interesting spouse! One of my male Sim ends up with Kara in Midnight Hollow for the first time.

Here are the comments:

Your founder is pretty, haha he almost like the bishounen in a shoujo-manga
Poor, Chris. He got rejected at the first try! It’s good to know that he’s never give up though! I love how you’re design the initial building. I never build a large house before.

How did you manage Nadia to keep her clothes as maternity wear? My Sims usually wear ugly outfit

Never knew about photobucket things but you might want to try picmonkey, just search through google. It’s free and easy to use, that site help me a lot combine many screenshots. Well, usually I use Photoshop but I’m getting lazy lately

Why Gwendolen born with such traits? Is Kara is not happy with her pregnancy? Nevertheless, being an Evil is fun, so it’s not a big deal

You’re really good at building things. I really like the expansion!

Congrats for reach Immortality, Chris! I still can’t believe that it’s like yesterday that I found out that he has an interesting hair at his birthday! Bwahahaha! It’s really unforgettable moment for Dynasty founder XD

R.I.P Hyun-Moon. It’s really good to see that he had such a wonderful life. Look into his urn! You make me think twice about him, well after some makeover he actually quite good, lol

Eight:
I love every wedding scene and I love when I see that Sims can sit down like that instead randomly standing up and messed up the scenery.

Most of the guests are elderly, which is quite worrying!

When nooboo will coming… Yeah, usually they are pretty useless unless we command them to do something lol

Thank you very much for reding all the way through, Eld, I am still ghost-reading yours and will comment when I finish [I am so slow, lol].

I think it is Kara's nature to reject the first proposal, I did a test run and she rejected my sim xD I usual;y also do small builds, but had to think of future sims and so built something big to fit 8 sims ^^

The makeovers came out so well due to all the CC I use, I honestly have no inspiration until I see pretty patterns and clothes lol. The CC dress that Nadia wears is also suitable for maternity so she was lucky, I am hoping future CC clothes are also suitable if I can remember to change the ladies clothes first - but due to laziness on my part they may be stuff with the boring dresses, haha.

I decided to use Photoshop, though it takes me a while to get all the screenshots right. Thank anyway.

Gwendolen is born with those traits because it's what she's like in the book - Charmed Life - my characters are all based from that series. She was also not a good student so I made the comment of not being studious in this world =]

I was really pleased to see Nervous, I never got to play TS2 so it was interesting to see previous sim characters. I believe Christopher got glitched hair, I have no idea why but I laugh every time I see it xD

I miss Hyun-Moon a lot, though his ghost does annoy me when it cancels the living sims actions, lol, but it's all good.

I made sure to have good spacing for the seats so no one had routing problems, though for some reason I couldn't get the wedding cake - I probably have to buy it before going to a public lot x.x

I really, really wished Tae-Hyun could sing in Korean, I hope we can visit Korea in TS4 ^_^

I have fun reading people stories anyway. Same as you, I am a Ghost-reader too sometimes, especially when there's story with lot of chapters. Usually stay silent before able to read all the stories

Yep, it sounds more like Kara. I love her, because she may be has that tendency personality, she plays hard to get first, but sweet in the end, well in my opinion

Ah, no. You have a talent to do some makeover. With CC or not some people can make Sims makeover to be much better or worse. Unfortunately, I have tendency to make them worse, lol. So, I usually stay away from CC, the only CC that I love just custom Sims eyes.

That's why that I say "Fascinating", you’re very dedicated to make Gwendolen just like a character from book

Yeah, still on my mind. I still laugh when I see that hairstyle, lol. That will be something that people remember about Chris. Funny moment of the founder

Yeah, we can hope in TS4!Don't forget about another interesting thing, well for example: Bermuda Triangle lol. That will be interesting for story making purpose

Eleven - The Girls

The triplets reach their child birthdays.



The girls childhood is pretty uneventful. They go to school, complete homework then do whatever they wish. Except for Dulcinea who is fulfilling future heirs possible wishes.



Before you know it, they are teens - why bother even changing their wardrobes? x.x





Seems like Millie doesn't like homework very much. She gets her first opportunity - Research Project.



Gwendolen ages to adult.



Gwendolen: Hey, where are my photos?

Janet: You're wearing the same thing, let's move on tho the important members of the family now.


With Into The Future installed, Millie finally has a job goal. Bot Building. Enough said. She gets to work designing nanites and creating chips.



Theresa works out as she is hoping to go on a trip with her sister once they reach young adult.



Gwendolen fulfils her lifetime wish. The adults get a free holiday. Janet lets them go so she can focus on the girls.

Janet: Have fun, you deserve a little break from not doing anything.

Everyone: *mumbling and grumbling*

Janet: Oh, honestly, Kara, stop going after Tae-Hyun already!



This is Edmond James. He is the only teen in town, the other one shows up as a teen in his picture but is actually a child! For some reason Cora Flynn has been a child long before Gwendolen was born so I have no idea what the heck is going on with her. Anyway, Theresa pops a wish to train someone, and Edmond is the perfect choice.



Gwendolen: Run, fat boy, run.

Dulcinea learns the making-an-imaginary-friend-real potion - who has the time to check the proper name?



Dulcinea: What's my next challenge, Janet?

Janet: Sculpting.

Dulcinea: Okie, dokie.

After a second evening of training, Edmond loses his weight.



Gwendolen: Oh, my lovable fatty, he's quite cute.

Janet: Are you just going to quote movie and manhwa titles?

Gwendolen: I'm bored with this holiday.


Theresa offers him a makeover. He's already handsome, so he just needs a new hair style and formal wear.





Millie makes her way to Edmond, befriends him and has a date for the prom.



Theresa: Really? I do all the hard work and it's my lovely sister who snatches him away?

Millie: Sorry, sweetie, but I am the heir.

Dulcinea ignores her sisters and just gets on with her work. As the youngest, she knows there's no way she'll earn any special titles or leave behind a legacy.



The adults are back and Gwendolen makes one last meal to complete the World-Class Chef challenge. She's got two new best friends, Jodie Cleary and Shelley Hobbs and has 12 days to elder for her first ambrosia.



Millie has a new opportunity - Work/School Learning Project and Tae-Hyun retires. That's another Jun who didn't get the rock star career after all.



The kids attend prom. Millie can't be seen in this shot, but she and Edmond end up going steady, Theresa earns Prom Queen and Dulcinea has a pretty dull night.

Twelve - Goodbyes and Immortality

Gwendolen is in charge of teaching Dulcinea to drive.



Nadia is 112 when she passes, she pleads with Grim to stay a little longer but we all know he won't allow that. RIP, Nadia, you stayed true to Hyun-Moon long after he was gone and passed on your lovely red hair to two descendants.




After mourning, the household return to their normal duties - thank you Stone Hearted.


I forgot the name of this girl, she is so pretty and deserved a new style. She was given some lip gloss only and new outfits and wasn't very grateful to Theresa for this new look.




Millie creates her first Bot. She names her Plumberlina, gives her the cleaning chip and tunes her up. A sad farewell is waved before she's sold.






The girls graduate with high honours. Millie is Valedictorian, Theresa is voted most likely to become a sports star and Dulcinea will take over the world - again, not happening!



When they reach home, it's time for Kara to move on. She leaves at the age of 119, the longest any of my sim has ever lived. Thanks for giving us the first heir even though you messed up with your son-in-law.



Edmond is still a teen, at this point Janet wonders if getting rid of Millie's IF was a good idea. At this point, Millie gets her first career opportunity - Silicon Slinger.



Gwendolen ages to elder, her everyday and formal outfit is the same.




Here are the girls' adult wear with a close up of Millie.






This is a cute little addition of Millie's Bot Fan trait, she can switch into Bot Mode and stays like that all day until she has to wash. Her full traits list is: Absent-Minded, Loves The Outdoors, Eco-Friendly, Bot Fan and Computer Whiz.



Updated museum:



I couldn't find any Bot statues so I went for the brains and human parts decor with some files in a box for Millie's Bot building skill.




Gwendolen sighs heavily as she prepares ambrosia. She reaches immortality at 81, the same as her father.




Janet: Well done, Gwendolen!

Gwendolen: *chokes*

Chapter 11
Alchemy labs always have funny moment! I always wonder why even bald Sim end up with singed hair, lol. I can't believe that the children are already grown up to teenager already! As usual, I loved your makeover! Happy birthday, Gwendolen!

Ah, Cora Flynn case is same as my Sim childhood friend.

I see that you're into Korean things, you mentioned about manhwa. Good job! Please, keep posting something related about it and let it dominate the world, unconsciously  <3

Chapter 12
112? Wow, Nadia has a long life. Hope that she has a good time. May she will be reunite with her lover in after life. Kara is even longer O_O

I love all things Korean, it's great to add in little details ^.^ I've never had a bald sim - too much of a perfectionist to do that lol - so I didn't know they get singed hair too, weird xD Though I was saddened by their deaths I really needed the space for Edmond and the future heir. Thirteen - Millie Gets Married

This is Millie's private Bot room. She's hard at work, Edmond is still a teen, and has another opportunity checked off her list - Bots Going Berserk. This also gets her skill to hit level 10. She can at last create the last chip needed for the Chipping In challenge.



The girls get their own vehicles.



Edmond gets a makeover once he reaches young adult. First time Millie triggers the Dip Kiss, and they have a cute kissing shot.




She proposes and he accepts.




Millie moves him in and plans a bachelorette party. Her sisters enjoy spraying her with nectar, and it's Dulcinea who gives a speech - missing screenshot phase again, NJ?

NJ: It was late last night and the wind was howling x.#






The next evening it's the wedding. They were supposed to be wearing something like traditional Korean wedding outfits but none could be found. Millie has a huge skirt instead, and Edmond is in a sherwani.





Edmond's father and brother turn up for the party, but his mother is nowhere to be seen. Nevertheless, Millie cuts the cake, several guests stamp their feet in order to get their slice and Keven Gore chooses this moment to die - at least he thought the party rocked.




Grim asked Gwendolen to pillow fight, he hits her and disappears. She's planning her revenge.



Edmond's turn for the dip kiss. They're so sweet together. The new expansion bed is installed, Millie locks the door against her family so she and Edmond won't be disturbed.





The garden got a proper makeover. Fishing area, martial arts, playground - since taking this screenshot it's been updated again and the graveyard. And I forgot to take a screenshot of the little relaxing area -.-"

Fourteen - We Leave Behind Our Legacies

Millie buys her building - Fascinating Facts Observatory - and property - Nuts n Bolts Bot Emporium (renamed to Millie Chant's Bot Emporium - can anyone think what movie title this copies?)

She inspects the time machine by stamping lightly with her high heels.



Blue and white bolts fizz and bang and an odd man appears within the portal. He introduces himself as Emit Something-Or-Other and gives her an opportunity. Strange man.



Millie reads through the Almanac he leaves with her. Something catches her eyes. Legacies. She rushes home, builds a Bot called Humblelina and slips in a special trait chip - Sentience. As she tunes her up, Emit re-appears and informs Millie that she is the Pioneer of Plumbotics. Not only that, she can check off her lifetime wish and unique rewards - Portal Immunity and Collection Helper.




Selling Humbelina for 11k+ has her reach level 8 in her career. Eager to see how she has changed the future, Millie enters the portal.



Following Emit's instructions, she heads to Legacy Park to find her statue. A fuzzy, warm feeling washes over her but she is alone here, her parents and sisters are back home and there's no one to share her excitement with.



She quickly tunes up some Bots that are roaming around and witnesses Nathaniel Castle embarrassing himself.




The journey home doesn't go so well, the ground shakes and the lightning bolts are twirling all around her.



Remembering what she had seen in the future, she knows it's time for her sister to get recognition for something other than being spares in an immortal dynasty.

Theresa and Dulcinea join their sister in Christopher's museum. Millie tells them about the future, how there were prosperous Chants living in Oasis Landing and how perfectly pleasant everything was. She showed them a photo of her legacy statue. Theresa calmly listens and Dulcinea thoughtfully gazes at the photo of their grandparents when they were still quite young.

Dulcinea: Ok, let's go for it.



Theresa sets up the Rubikon Retail Display Pedestal in her sister store for her Trendsetter Legacy. She throws a party to bring in buyers and by the end of the evening meets Emit - she knows her part in this story is only just beginning.





Sadly, Tae-Hyun passes away at the age of 93. He was bonding with his son-in-law while fishing and was glad his wife hadn't been there to see him go. RIP, dearest Tae-Hyun <3




The girls meet at the portal, not knowing their father has passed away, and travel to the future.



Theresa: Oh, my bum hurts!



Time for Dulcinea to visit the City Hall and browse through the Lotto ticket records. She notes down the results and is automatically changed into new clothes - Theresa's legacy had set that off.



Theresa: Not bad, but why is my statue a guy?

Janet: We can't make custom statues, you know.



Millie continues to look around for Bots and tune them up. She creates Greywind using the free service at Nuts n Bolts and tuning him completes her Domo Arigato Mr Plumboto challenge.





When they go back home, Dulcinea buys the winning ticket from the grocery store. She gives her winnings, £50,000, to the Plan For The Future Fund and gets a visit from Emit.




She goes alone to the future to inspect her statue.

Well, I love them both but I'm more into Japanese things! I have seen Korean movies, manhwa and even taste Korean dish for once ^^
My friends are huge fan of Korean too and they love Korean movies for their love story and good looking guys, lol

I've never had a bald sim - too much of a perfectionist to do that lol

Haha, right... If you usually looking into pretty boys, well I am actually the opposite. I just found that older Sim is more attractive Weird taste... oopss XP

Though I was saddened by their deaths I really needed the space for Edmond and the future heir.

Yes, if this not an Immortal Dynasty related things you might want to keep him alive... forever! Well, at least you can do something about them when you're reaching the end of Dynasty. Make sure to make a happy story-line for them ^^

It seems that you're having fun with the new expansion pack. I still haven't get my copy yet (-3-), it will not be happening in awhile. So it's good to see how the game-play from reading other stories.

The vehicle is kinda unique don't you think? Looking at Edmond kinda remind me of... who is he again? The one with unique hair when he get birthday sparkle. Ah, yes Chris! XD

Ah, to have someone to die in your wedding party. How dare he! He just ruined your perfect moment. But at least you can play pillow fighting with Grimmy!

And that was a cute couple screenshot of Millie and Edmund together. Wait, so in ITF they added a new interaction? I believe that I never see that one! Or... it's related to pose player thing?

Chapter 14
ITF looks really fun to play with.  Ah... RIP Tae-Hyun! It's just like yesterday that we lost Hyu-Moon

Just caught up with this! Everyone is so lovely and pretty and you're making me want to get new expansions. Ah well. At least I can play around in Midnight Hollow later on 

The greyish skin on the girls is really quite neat. I wonder how long it will last genetic-wise, as it kind of reminds me of Marceline from Adventure Time.

Eld, I am just like your friends lol - Korean guys are just hot =P The Dip Kiss is a new interaction from ITF, it's great to perform - they do a little twirl then dip kiss. I've only used it with Millie and Edmond so I'm not too sure how non-romantic sims/Bots would react - it'll be interesting to see. I should put glasses on Edmond and see if he looks like Chris 'cause I don't see the resemblance o.o

I didn't expect Tae-Hyun to die so soon, I was screaming at the screen and at Throgmorten for not harassing Grim =[ I've no idea what to do for an epilogue, I've seen other people resurrect dead spouses once the dynasty is over, but I don't know if I'd do that. Or might do just for my favourite characters ^.~

Some of the Chants from the future have grey skin and at least 1 has the red hair - from Theresa's line so I'm sad the descendant won't exist once Theresa passes T.T
