Two simple general questions

Hello all.  I have two simple questions to ask.

1.  Is it possible to create a large basement in a house that is already constructed?  I have a Sim who I want to start creating nectar, so I need a large basement for storage.

2.  I created a couple of venues - one for dance, the other a dive bar.  However, the music that comes out of these sound systems is classical; not the type to rock out to needless to say.  Is there a way to change the music to something more suitable?

1. Yes you need to use the basement tool in build mode then add stairs. Wall and objects are placed as normal.
2. In live mode click on change music type and set it to whatever you want

I tried to change the music in the two venues that I created.  In live mode, I went to options and chose Music.  I then chose "Electronica" and then clicked 'Accept'.  But for some reason, the change did not occur and the music remained as 'Classical'.       Can anyone tell me what may be happening?  HELP!

No, click on the stereo (in the venue in live mode, not options) and change from classical to electronica. Hope this helps!
