Deleted Mailbox by Accident

Hi All,
I built a house on a new lot in Twinbrooks-everything was going fine-landscaped etc with moveobjects on,  at some point I must have deleted my Mailbox. 
I just noticed now when I turned my game on that it's missing. So theres no undoing since I saved my game yesterday.
Does anyone have a clue how to get a mailbox?
Any help would be appreciated-again.

I figured it out--If it helps anyone else-
I turned my game on, did save as, with a different name and when I went into that game my mailbox was there.

Very glad you got your mailbox back.  I wouldn't know how to replace it, but maybe others would know.  Please go ahead and post here if anyone knows how to put a replacment mailbox on a lot without doing what Jancy did.

I wonder if everything else is in buydebug, if a mailbox would be there.  Might have to check.

I don't believe it is replaceable. Be careful with cheats, they can do irreparable damage if used unwisely.

I did that once too. Oops! What I did was go into Edit Town, Saved the house and household to the library, Moved her off the lot, bulldozed the old one and put a new one in, put down the house, now I had 2 same people because they were doubled, but I quickly offed the double and I had my mailbox back!

I honestly didn't think it was after I typed that post.  As long as it got figured out, it is all good.

One of the quickest ways (at least as of my Ambitions install), is to toggle the lot's zoning in "Town Edit" mode.

It'll create the appropriate mailbox / trash can for residential lots, and remove them for community lots.

In edit town you can click any lot and make them community or residential. I should have done that instead of what I did! That's easy compared with what I did!

By "toggle" I just meant "change it, save it ... change it back to what it was, save it."

Yep, I got it.  Sorry for my confusion, had a blonde moment (and I am a redhead, go figure).

All I did was move my house to a different lot.

You can download new mail box if you don't now
download it from modthesims.info for example.

All you have to do is quit the game and go back into it. The game will regenerate it for you.
