Feeling lucky/unlucky moodlets
« on: September 19, 2013, 09:17:07 PM »
Sims who have the 'feeling lucky' moodlet have 0% chance of:
- being robbed
- catching on fire
- fire spreading
- burning food
- breaking objects
- failing upgrades
- catching on fire while standing on a fire tile
- being electrocuted
They are also 10 times more likely to 'win' a career event, and twice as likely to get a raise.

Sims who have the 'feeling unlucky' moodlet are:
- twice as likely to be burgled
- twice as likely to burn food
- twice as likely to start a fire while burning food
- three times as likely to have their birthday cake catch on fire
- twice as likely to spread fire if they have caught on fire
- 1.4 times more likely to fail an upgrade
- twice as likely to fail epically while upgrading (shock)
- twice as likely to break objects (good tip for dynasty players wanting broken objects for handiness skill challenge!)
- 1.5 times more likely to get electrocuted while repairing
- 80% less likely to win a career event
- 50% less likely to get a raise
They will also only have the 'on fire' moodlet for 20 minutes before dying.

Thanks for posting this! I've always been curious.

Regarding the failure upgrading/repairing objects, would the Handy trait negate some of the effects of the Feeling Unlucky moodlet?

I honestly don't know what would take precendence. Perhaps some extensive play-testing could find that out.
