Sounds like you got hit with the infinite baby loop bug, there is really no known permanent fix for this short of turning cheats on.  You have permission from the team to start over your challenge file.  Good luck and have fun.

Having a huge problem >.< After moving to a new world and then purchasing land/home, I click the green arrow to start playing the household, it turns grey but doesn't go into live mode. The game is not frozen, I can drag around in map mode, but cannot start playing. I tried this on a non score file and the same thing happened. Any ideas? :[

When you move, the game would prompt you to save, did you save?  Exit the game and restart loading the save file, see if you can start playing.

After all the bugs and glitches and the restart, I have finally managed to finish the challenge ^u^!

Final score: 36 days.

Can't wait for the event to be over so we can discuss strategies xD

Mark me as DNF (school bus left without one of the children).

Anyways, the challenge was awesome  ;D Made me learn sooooo much about the game  :)

May I please have a ruling?

The child in world 1 had a field trip in Sunset Valley to the science center. He arrived for it, because Christopher Steel reprimanded him, "don't touch that!"

However, when I glanced back at the kid, the panel showed skipping school. I panned to him (while hitting the "go to school" button), but apparently, he was stuck inside of the box hedge. He did the no-path dance. I reset him, and instantly sent him back to school, to which he arrived with no apparent issue. I have nooooo idea how he went from inside with Mr Dynasty Spouse to stuck in a box hedge (except maybe the school bullies got him).

May I have permission to continue without a need to restart? The only reason I hadn't been focused on him at that moment is because I was queueing mom's tasks.

Sure, sounds like you're okay and got him back to school.

Awesome, thank you! :)

Edit: LOL So I fired the game back up, the kid is in school since it's not 3 yet, and Christopher Steel is telling him to get out of the Faraday Cage right now. I don't think Chris is a very good chaperone if he doesn't know where his students are.

Before I end up breaking a rule, I just wanted to check something:

Fishing and selling the fish would count as "Self-employed" for the stay-at-home sim, right? Even if they don't register as self-employed?

If so, "obtain money in other ways" would be limited to just be things like opportunities and selling potions/formulas?

This challenge isn't at all easy! 0.o

So sorry! Honestly didn't think that any of that would be thought of as "strategy talk". My apologies. I'll be more careful next time.
