(The New) Seelie Immortal Dynasty - Growing up
« Reply #30 on: September 26, 2013, 05:06:31 PM »
Hi everyone! My name is Gardenia Seelie, and I am the 2nd generation first born of this legacy. Seems Mom is hesitant to call me Heir, though I don't know why. Could I be too young? I AM a teenager already! And I do have her hairstyle. Purely because I like it...

Mom has explained the story of the family, including Grandma's fate and Great-Grandma's letter, to all three of us I think it's interesting. It will be sad to see the man I eventually marry *thinks of a cute blonde that delivers the neighbor's papers and drools* die.

And I will also lose my siblings, Geranium and Hyacinth. I think I would miss most Geranium.

She and I are very close, especially bonding over our jealousy of Hyacinth. He likes to shove his ability to use magic in our faces whenever he gets the chance. Sometimes, I dream that I have magic in me, but then I wake up. :(

Ever since Mom ate the Faerie Food, she has been more care free. I catch her and Dad making out every chance they get!

I am very proud of myself. I was finally able to max(but not SuperMax) Painting! Awesome, yes?

Of course, soon after I do that, Dad becomes an elder. I wonder if I will look as good as he does when I am his age. *giggles*

I wanted to become a young adult so badly, that I stayed up til midnight and had my birthday as soon as possible.

Aren't I pretty? Yellow is my favorite color, though my namesake flower is white. So I wear both colors together. I decided to grow my hair out and keep it unbraided. So much prettier that way.

Right after aging up(And I mean RIGHT after), Aunt Agnes did my sculpture and portrait. I think she is worried about not being around much longer.

Both Hyacinth(I heard Mom mention that Hyacinth looks just like her Dad, except for the ears.)

And Geranium decided to wait til later in the morning to age up.

Later that afternoon, Mom pulled me aside to have a little 'talk'.

Mom: You know, my dear, now that you are a young adult, I need to speak to you about magick.

Me: I don't have any. Hyacinth got all the magick.

Mom: You have magick in you as well, my dear. It's just that sometimes it waits to come out til one matures to the right age. I made this potion awhile ago and waited til you were mature enough, in both mind AND body, to use it. *throws the potion at me*

Wow! I feel so different now! Mom even gave me her nice wand, now that she can do magick without wands now.

First thing I did, now that I am a witch, was to get me a familiar of my own. This is Citrine, my new baby girl kitten. I named her after my favorite stone. Isn't she just too cute?

Sunday morning was our graduation from High School. I am SO glad that is over with!

The ceremony was awesome.

All three of us graduated with Highest Honors. I made Valedictorian(But of course)! Geranium (in her cute little kitty hat) was voted Most Artistic. Hyacinth was voted Most Likely to Save the World. And they voted me Most likely to take over the world. Yeah, I'll take over the world, after Hyacinth finishes 'saving' it. *smirk*

Right afterwards, I raced home on my broom.

Then I invited that cute newspaper boy, Davon, over to talk.

I guess we hit it off really well, because soon we decided to start dating exclusively.

And then he surprised me by asking me to marry him!

Of course, I said yes! What cute babies we'll make!

I wanted to have a private ceremony then and there, but Mom said no. Said I was 'too young' and that she wasn't that young when she married. I beg to differ. I saw Mom's scrapbooks.

Oh well. Guess I'll wait til I have the parents approval.

Keeps glitching on me. Mainly deleting photos Mom takes when I select them to put on wall, and unable to click or delete 2nd sculpting station. Grrrr

Taking a break from the family for a few days, so I don't go rage and delete the family and never look back.

Author's note: Sorry for the delay all. I'm back, problems either fixed or being ignored.

Mom and Dad, though both elders, are still going strong when it comes to their love.

Amethyst and Citrine also seem to be getting along with each other. Citrine really keeps Amethyst on his paws!

Then again, Dad also keeps Amethyst active. I have caught him playing with Amethyst more times then I can count.

Davon though, it seems, can't keep on his toes as he trains for his new job in the military.

*from backround* Hey! You weren't supposed to show that!

*giggles*

Been catching Mom on alot of travel websites. I think she has something planned. Heard her muttering about wedding, so perhaps a second honeymoon for her and Dad?

Unfortunately, Aunt Agnes didn't get a chance to help them celebrate. Death came for her at the ripe age of 97. Rest in Peace with your beloved Erik, dear Agnes.

We were all distraught from her passing,

So Mom decided to spring her surprise early. She was taking all of us to France. To celebrate not only her and Dad's anniversary, but to also see me and Davon married!

Still fresh from Agnes' death, we were all still upset even after arriving there. It took Hyacinth's new contraption, called a 'moodlet manager', to get us even in the mood to have a wedding.

Celebrating our love of art, we held the private wedding at the local art museum.

Of course, we couldn't get into the spirit of things. So, after some quick gift shopping from Mom, we all went home way ahead of schedule.

A day after we got back, Citrine became a full fledged adult.

Everyone spent the rest of the week relaxing and calming down after Agnes' death.

I was able to finally paint my last masterpiece, and get my painting skill supermaxed!

Soon after, I got to work on maxing my guitar skill, so I can get my lifetime wish complete.

Davon really excels in the military. Got a promotion on his first day of work!!

He had just finished giving me a nice romantic massage(which made me feel real fertile!),

When Death came back to our house for another life. Dear Amethyst left us as well.

Even though he was an elder, we didn't see this one coming. Death can be very cruel, leaving us little time between mournings.

Was actually Amethyst, not Citrine. But yes. RIP to the lost ones...

I was planning on staying longer in France, but the dang moodlet for mourning was driving me crazy, so I sent them home. With a bunch of *expensive* nectar for the cellar, and other local treasures. :D

Next post should be up by end of day, and the one after that should be up tomorrow or Wednesday. The large household is driving me crazy, so I have been doing it only a day or two at a time before a break.

To help us get overr our losses this week, Davon and I decided to have a little fun in the shower.

Mom dealt with the losses by playing with Citrine, since her cat is no longer with us.

Soon after, I started getting sick. At first I thought it was something I ate...

Until I got sick again, at home.

It was then that I realized that I was pregnant!

Seems like Davon was pleased when I told him.

The next few days flew by, especially with Mom making sure I took after her. Which meant reading pregnancy books(both me and Davon), a Soothing Salvation at the spa, and a hospital check-up. I agreed with her that we would wait for the gender til the child was born.

When the labor came, mid week, I made my way to the hospital via broom. Good thing it can steer itself, cause I was in too much pain to focus on the road!

I was pleased when all was done, and I was the mother of not one, but two nooboos!

I would like to introduce you to my heir Freesia, and her twin brother, Ivy.

Almost all of us chipped in to take care of them...

...though Geranium seemed more interested in her toys than the children.

I was pleased when Citrine came into the nursery, and recognized both Freesia and Ivy as witches. They won't go thru the jealousy Geranium and I went through because of magic.

Caught Mom reading in the bathroom. I think that's kinda odd. But after her long life, I've come to expect it.

Come the end of the week, the twins became toddlers. Freesia aged up first.

Then it was Ivy's turn.

Ivy has taken after his father in looks, as far as skin and hair color are concerned. He has the most lovely gray eyes(from Davon's side of the family, I believe).

Freesia looks to have taken after not me and Davon, but her own grandmother. She and Mom have the exact same skin and hair color. Genetics must have skipped over me apparently. She has her father's eyes.

Both of them love the Lime green color, so we tried our best to dress them in it. Though I did add pink to Freesia's wardrobe. She looks so cute in it!

It is so nice to see them go immediately towards building their skills. They will be smart children, I am sure.

We were all devistated when Dad never made it home from the Spa. He died right outside it, at the age of 92.

He never even got to spend time with the twins after they aged up. :(

Rest in Peace, Dad. You will be greatly missed.

:(  It's always so sad when the parents die.  Particularly when they don't get to see their grandkids age up.

I loved Gardenia's chapter, it made me like her more. I'll miss Agnes, Chris and Amethyst - RIP <3 The twinboos are gorgeous, I'll bet a full house is keeping you busy - or tearing your hair out ^.~

It is doing both hair tearing, and keeping me busy. And it's only to three generations!

~~~~
After Dad died, we all tried to keep ourselves busy.
Hyacinth started immediately on Freesia's sculpture while Geranium worked on her portrait.
The twins were then taught how to walk.
Spoke to Freesia on weddings,
...and finding 'Mr. Right'.
Ivy enjoyed talking about the possibility of travel...
And the importance of nature.
Of course, I did take the time to keep Citrine happy.
Right after his birthday...
I noticed Davon missing. Last time I saw him, he was running outside "to look at the strange lights".
A few hours later he returned home, muttering about experiments and probes(Really?).
Thankfully, even with his experience, we were able to finish training the twins in time for their birthday(and ours!) on Sunday.
Freesia went first.
Then it was Ivy's turn.
Hyacinth and Geranium both got busy on Freesia's museum pieces.
And Davon took it upon himself to tutor the twins a little before their first day of school the next day.
Us triplets decided to forgo birthday cakes this time around. I aged up to adult first...
...then went Geranium,
and Hyacinth pulled up the rear(As he should!).
Unfortunately, being triplets, we all share alot of things. Like Mid-life crisis'. Is going to be interesting!
They are so cute as toddlers. The triplets are also aging well. I love the nursery, I've never thought to use those heart rugs until now =]
Got the idea from some story or another. I think they are cute. :)
As always right after birthdays, museum pieces were rushed into production.
On their first day of school, it was nice to see Freesia and Ivy sit together on the bus.
Little Green Men must have it out for this household. First I get abducted...
Then Davon gets taken again. Thankfully, only thing we came back with were bad moodlets!
Even being abducted didn't prevent Davon from succeeding in the military. He has been gaining promotions every day!
Hyacinth wanted an expensive car as part of his mid-life crisis. He chose this 1960 mustang!
About mid-week, Freesia makes a beeline for the science center right after school. Must have to do with the rainbow gem she asked (and received) from Mom.
And after she finished her homework, I spied this in the downstairs bathroom.
Looks like we have another child to raise now. Meet Thory. He has the Insane, Eccentric, and Snob traits.
Because he is Freesia's friend, he shares the same room(but not bed!) with her.
He spied an ice sculpture Hyacinth made of his 'Imaginary Friend', entitled "My REAL Friend". I think he sees similarities between it and himself.
Thory has also taken up writing children's books.
The first is entitled 'Guide to the Fae Realm Part 1'. I wonder how many parts there will be. Could he be getting help from Tatiana, the Queen of the Fae?
I think Freesia enjoys having someone other than her twin ride next to her on the bus.
And when they are at school, I take time to relax in the hottub.
I wonder if Freesia misses being able to play with a small doll, as I found her playing with Hyacinth's old toy.
And once again, it comes time to celebrate birthdays. Freesia went first
Then came Ivy
And Thory came up last.
3 teenagers in the house now. Now I'll know how Mom and Dad felt, raising the three of us!
