My first reaction was a bit too dark and gloomy for my tastes but my second reaction was OMG! open for business stuff  ;D

That was my favourite ep for sims 2 and this world would be totally worth it just to have some of that back again, I am so impressed with the way they are giving simmers things they want lately, I hope you can sell your own creations, would be great to open an art studio to sell your own paintings and sculptures.

Great find Tilia.  Definitely made my day when I saw it.

However, the Savvy Seller's Collection is definitely going to be a must by.

If you are curious about what is in the Savvy Seller's Collection (the Premium Content of the set), you can find it here:
Savvy Seller's Collection

Some more images from the store:

Also, if you go to the Buy Simpoints page, there are a couple Midnight Hollow specials:
Buy Simpoints

The first is if you spend $60, you can get 7900 Simpoints.  If you spend $40, you can get 5000 Simpoints.  Additionally, if you get it early, looks like you get a few bonus items (the Midnight Hollow Voodoo Bundle)

As Tilia posted above, none of this will be released before September 26, 2013.

Gothic isn't usually my thing but I this looks so amazing! I love the clothes and hair especially. The horror clothes from Movie stuff will go great with this. I am so excited! :D

My only concise reaction is...gawd I need this world.

I love dark worlds. I love misfits. I love alternative fashion. I love the idea of running shops. I love dreary days without sunlight and a haven for the dozens of freaks I make in CAS. And it's released just one day before payday!

. . . Maybe you should feel a little stalked . . .

Gah! I want this so bad, but I'm waiting for Sims 4 so I don't spend tons of money on things I end up not using at all. So conflicted!

I am so happy! Open for Business stuff! I am so hoping we can sell made stuff - it would be a great way to distribute art amongst the neighbourhood (I've been hoping for that for ages - it worked great in sims 2)! :D

Did anyone look at all the items included? There are heaps, loving the steam punk goggles. And the Business side of it  :o I'm so going to have to get this. Glad I just topped up my Paypal account.

*additional edit* Take a look at the media.. Victorian buildings, they all look gorgeous.

I really want this world. I quite literally flailed about when I first saw it. And looking through the items in it only made me want this world more.
I know which town I'm moving my vampire family into once I get it.

Am I missing something? I see the tab for the Gold version for 4,350 simpoints, but what comes with it? There's just the image of the little kid and a jack-in-the-box. The Gold version must come with more than a windup toy!

Mappin, there was mention of them releasing details of the gold version in a live broadcast on September 17th. Usually though, when they have a gold version, isn't that the one that contains the premium content? Maybe the standard one doesn't include the Business part.

The premium content is in the standard version tab. Perhaps there is a venue that they haven't made mention of yet that will be with the gold version, isn't that usually how it works? Like how lucky palms gold had the casino, and aurora skies had the children's centre.

The store page wouldn't load for me yesterday but I just read it all and today I'm far more interested in the actual world, love the architecture and the general style of it, it's the lighting that will be the thing I guess, I find Aurora Skies a bit too gloomy to play in but then that's day time and it's dark this sounds like almost perma night which might be different.

And I see Olive Specter is the returning sim, I never played her in Strangetown but I do remember her quite well she's a pretty interesting character and fits perfectly with this world, I guess the little boy she's carrying on the store page must be Nervous Subject.

I love the science center rabbit hole, shame that isn't a house as it would be great for a mad scientist/eccentric inventor sim ;D
