Question about Gold Digger Lifetime Wish

I am trying to do all life time wishes in my game and unfortunately have come across this one ( I don't like the "mean" life time wishes, and avoid them)  I know that once upon a time this wish was glitched and you couldn't finish it since it didn't acknowledge the ghost as your spouse.  The relationship chain between gold digger and dead spouse was broken.  I was just wondering if this is fixed, or was this something that was only broken in my game?

I finished this lifetime wish not too long ago (the only time I've attempted it) so it's either fixed or it was only in your game.

I think it's a little erratic, I had it work once but other times it hasn't, if it doesn't easiest thing to do is either oh my ghost or philosophers stone to bring the ghost back, you will have to break them up and remarry as they get set at fiancee when they die which is why it sometimes fails, I guess it's a race between the LTW completing and the relationship state change, then you can just send the ghost back to the netherworld or bring them back to life but it does work that way.

I don't think any of the ghosts are identified as rich.

But if my sim was rich would not his new ghost wife also get the "rich" tag? I haven't done it but seems it would work.
