So a couple days ago, my game just suddenly stopped wanting to load (I haven't added anything new or updated to the latest patch yet.) I'd click on the exe file, the screen would turn black, and then nothing. I'd have to ctrl-alt-delete out to get back to my desktop where task manager tells me The Sims isn't responding. I ended up doing the entire resetting the game without uninstalling method and everything worked fine as I added back my mods and whatnot one by one until I added my Library folder back in. That's when the loading issue started again. I pulled out all the files that were in the Library folder (all my downloaded buildings, saved houses, etc.) and left the folder empty. Tried to start the game, got the same non-loading issue. Then I took the empty folder out and now the game starts.
Is there any way to fix whatever this problem is? I can run the game without the Library folder, but where would I put all my saved lots then?
