Puppy Fur

And we have babies! This is Almond, here, who's not a heir. She's human.

And this is Jazzberry Jam, our heir. Not only is she a rainboo, she's also a wolf! She's Neurotic and Loves the Outdoors, both pretty solid traits.

Not pictured is Bittersweet, a normal skin slider human. I guess I was lucky - even though I only got one rainboo and one werewolf they were at least the same baby.

Now Cerise and Pappy have dependants they probably need a bigger house. It's a bit sparsely furnished in some rooms (*cough*livingroom*cough*), but they sort of ran out of money. That staircase leads absolutely nowhere, by the way. One day we'll be able to expand upstairs, but for now I'm content to let it sit there and cause minor routing fails when Pappy insists on trying to climb it.

Maybe I shouldn't build an upstairs. It'd be like a Sim stupidity test.

Pappy fails.

While Pappy fails, Cerise opts for a Young Again potion. She'll need to be youthful to cope with triplets. I bet they age you fast.

In some miracle, though, two of them are managing to sleep at once!

I've finally found someone this haircut suits!

(This shot and the one before it were taken in House Version 1, which crashed when I saved it. So I had to build it AGAIN. Everything else was taken in House Version 2.)

Almond and Bittersweet are aged up the next day. The plan is to have them fully toddler trained by the time Jazz ages up to toddler. Then Pappy and Cerise can put all their effort into her and age the triplets to child at the same time.

We'll see how well that works when I've tried training twins in two days.

Watch out for the baby, Cerise! I have no idea which baby, but it's a bad idea to tread on it whichever one it is.

Here's baby Almond. She's got Cerise's hair, Pappy's face and elf ears. Shame she's human.

She Hates the Outdoors and is Friendly. Not bad traits.

Here's Bittersweet. Again Cerise's hair and Pappy's face. The major differences between her and her human sister seem to be the eyes and ears (and mouth and nose...) so far. It'll be interesting to see how they look on growing up.

I'm also a terrible watcher and have completely forgotten what Bittersweet's traits are. She's clearly the unloved baby of the bunch.

I don't condone picking favourites, honest (but Jazz is mine).

Let the training...

...BEGIN!

Wow.. I really hope they grow into their faces xD

So do I! I haven't had chance to get back into this file since posting the update so I have no idea what they look like any older (though we'll find out soon, I have no patience for sim toddlers in a non-casual game).

They are still cute altough they look like Papy, I can't wait to see the little heir!

Neither can I, I haven't even yet! Hopefully we can both find out what she looks like...

Like I said on the CrumpleSteels thread, I haven't abandoned this and I'm really sorry I haven't been back to it for like a month. I've just have no spare time for simming, which I do again now!

Funny Jaws for All

Bittersweet does not want to learn to walk. Or possibly the grumpy look is just the way her face always is. She's supposed to be Friendly, after all.

Almond has so far been left pretty much to her own devices. Like I said before, the plan is to have both these girls trained before Jazz ages up but that only works if Cerise can stay awake long enough.

We just failed. Pappy carries Jazz to the cake, and immediately forgets what it was he was doing. Good job he didn't drop the baby into the cake. Iris would have a hissy fit about cakes and candles and the dangers that could involve, and that's before you bring the semi-senile father into it.

The Jaw has hit the third toddler. Our little wolf has pretty cool eyes, though.

I have no idea how to make her favourite colour work with her skin tone, so I'm ignoring it.

There's no actual requirement for training the toddlers in this dynasty, and I don't even get to pick Jazz's traits anyway, so I'm sometimes not sure why I'm bothering. Force of habit probably. Pappy and Cerise would probably rather I didn't. Neither of them have slept properly since the triplets arrived (yay for rocking chairs!) and there's almost always one of them with a need in amber or red. Toddlers and babies are not my favourite sim lifestages.

Respite arrives in the form of the younger two triplets becoming children. I keep wanting to refer to Bittersweet and Almond as 'the twins'.

Pappy remembers what he's here for this time.

One last toddler shot of Bittersweet (as I've skimped on them).

Well, that's unfortunate. Poor baldy Bittersweet.

The jaw has sort-of balanced out in size now, but it's only been replaced by some pretty unfortunate cheekbones. Pappy and Cerise's genetics don't mesh as well as I'd hoped they did.

I can also now reveal that Bittersweet's first traits were Friendly and Loner, but now I can't remember what her child one was. I fail at looking after this sim kid.

Almond fares slightly better at the cake.

Another last-toddler-shot.

And another set of unfortunate cheekbones. She rolls Can't Stand Art. Basically, she hates outdoors and hates the indoors being pretty. She's be happiest in a cardboard box, I reckon.

In their own special ways, they're pretty cute kids.

Cerise and Pappy heave a sigh of relief as they set off for their first day at school. Not that they get to rest. Oh no. It's time for intensive toddler training for Jazz.

Or, they could collapse into a heap and leave the kid to do whatever she fancies. Their parenting style is interesting.

Almond actually looks quite good. Fingers crossed for Cerise. Three pink haired girls, they remind me of bubblegum.

She does, they grew into their faces a bit after all. They have very odd cheekbones as teens though.

Exploding Toilets

If I'm honest I don't have a plan for the two non-heir girls. I don't want to age them up and move them out because I quite like them both, but I also don't have anything to actually do with them. So they're on free will for the forseeable future, which in Almond's case seems to involve a lot of being a princess.

And for Bittersweet, a lot of pranks.

Parents are so unfair, telling you off for covering all the toilet seats in the house with cling film and trapping all the sinks. You'd think they wanted to be able to use a bathroom without getting soaked.

Jazz's birthday is up next, now she's achieved her toddler requirements.

Best Friends with Both Parents: Check.
Two Toddler Skills Maxed: Xylophone, Peg Box. Check.

What trait will she roll?

Mean Spirited. Yay. So we have a Mean Spirited, Neurotic heir who Loves the Outdoors. Well, at least with her being a wolf the collecting challenges are both easy and will keep her away from insulting other sims or freaking out at the sink. Or, in a bad moment, possibly insulting the sink.

The other two seem so much easier in comparison now...

And they do homework autonomously. Though I'm not sure how Bittersweet can complain about the weather when we don't have Seasons installed. And probably never will until I can replace my computer.

Almond just looks shocked. Nothing shocking was happening in the house.

Pappy's obsession with the rocking chair is a little bit weird though. Especially as the face he's pulling implies he's having a terrible time.

But whatever your views on rocking chairs, being attacked by a zombie is worse.

Luckily, the zombie's too tired to bite him. She's had a long day of shouting "BRAAAIIINNNS!'' and scaring people, you've got to cut her some slack. It's only five minutes to clocking-off time and she's met all her targets for this full moon.

We had to wait until after the full moon to give Jazz her makeover. The pink hair just wasn't looking right on her, so we opted for something else.

There's also the compulsory wardrobe shot, which is only one outfit as *hopefully* she won't be a child for too long. The early aging up option is one of the best bits about this dynasty.

The reson behind having Cerise do Logic as the first generations should be more obvious now: a ready-made tutor for heirs 2-6. It's not cool to have to get extra tuition from your mum, but dynasty rules are dynasty rules and we're getting Jazz on that honour roll whether she likes it or not.

She also clashes slightly with the room she's in.

Bittersweet is reaping the rewards of not being heir - playing with a stuffed rabbit instead of being tutored. Between her and the toybox and Pappy and the rocking chair my sims are obsessed with the now-useless nursery.

At least she's stopped pranking people.

Meanwhile, Almond meets her nephew. Who's older than her. And also stuck as a child. Argh werewolves.

I imagine their conversation is something like:

Almond: OMG, you're a werewolf! That's awesome!

Gator: You're a boring sim. If you were a ghost you'd be so much cooler.

I think I may have spoken too soon about the pranking. If it's not one child, it's another...

Pappy's decision to get out of the house and fish was a good one. Probably the best he's made in his time with us.

She's cute as a child wolf though.

Pappy, you're a werewolf, zombies shouldn't scare you, lol. Jazz is looking better with the dark hair and clothes, she is so cute as a werewolf - usually I can't stand werewolves.

I'm now all misty-eyed and nostalgic for my first life states dynasty heiress and all those weird genes from Pappy she got. And going to school with her age-glitched nephews and niece. ;D

For some reason, I love Jazz's sense of fashion and new hair color. It's simple and dark and just perfect for a little werewolf.

They're cute, but the Pappy jaw makes them look like having little triangle-shaped beards.

They shouldn't, but they do! I'd never played a werewolf before Pappy and Jazz. Some of the things they do are so annoying - what adult scratches the furniture in their own house repeatedly?! But Jazz is cute and Pappy's endearingly stupid, so they're alright really.

Pappy's genes are seriously strong! The whole Gator and Wilhelmina still being kids thing is weird, especially as they'll be around for a few generations yet probably. I'm waiting for the awkwardness of gen 5 and 6 going to school with them. I love her new hair and clothes too, but might be slightly biased having done them for her.

Yeah, there's some kind of weird overlap thing going on there. They grow out of it as teens, don't worry.

Uncreatively Titled

It looks like a happy family evening, but I reckon it's Cerise giving a lecture on postmodernist art to her Hates Art child. Or something.

And our heir is howling in the kitchen.

For lack of any requirements to reach (Jazz has her childhood opportunity done and needs one more day for honour roll which will be Monday), the Crayolas go on a family day out to the beach.

Or Moonlight Falls' idea of a beach, anyway.

[Bittersweet: I'm so going to sneak up on Mummy and scare her!

Cerise: I can see you, child. And you'll regret this.]

Almond has amazing luck on the claw machines. I had to prise her away from it in the end because she was winning more stuffed bears than anyone has a use for.

Jazz dunked herself into the water. Which was probably cold (the sea always is) and she doesn't look like she's having very much fun.

Yeah, this just isn't Jazz's day.

[Jazz: I knew I needed to check the sink...]

Bittersweet has decided to follow her mum's example and become a chemist.

An ambition that lasts as long as getting a) blown up and b) her hair dyed by the shower. It's probably not her day either.

Which sister played the prank though? I don't know. Whichever one it was did it autonomously. All three kids are massive autonomous prankers, so using just about any plumbing appliance or chair in the house is a sort of Russian Roulette.

Clearly it wasn't Almond. She's just the picture of innocence in the rocking chair.

[Almond: Who? Me? Do what? I'm just sitting here rocking.]

Eagle-eyed readers will have noticed the absense of Pappy in this update. I feel bad about that now. Sorry Pappy, rest in peace. Your legacy will live on forever.

Quite literally, as Jazz will live forever and she's got most of your facial features.

With the mourning moodlet fresh, we have a pair of birthdays.

Bittersweet, who's now a Night Owl.

And Almond, Grumpy.

The next day, we have a third birthday.

I think Bittersweet turned out real nice! Hope Jazz is more like Bittersweet the Almond look-wise...
