I don't think Walter really understands that Mickey just wants to decapitate his toys, rather than going swimming! You'd think that after living most of his life married to an evil genius he'd get it by now, haha.
It think Angel was rather disappointed that it wasn't her who was abducted. She could have convinced them to join her evil minions!

It would be fun to send Angel into the future (I think she would like the dystopian future best!) but Hunter needs to focus on furthering her career, which obviously he can't do in the future. The family will go into the future in the future (lol) but I think I'll wait until I have a self-employed Sim.

It is a fun expansion. However there seems to be a bug where nobody is getting skill opportunities, or if they do they're very rare. I really hope this problem is fixed soon in a patch!

I think she'd make a good little sister, too. I only have one sister, who is 9 years older than me, but I still manage to crush her on Mario Kart, lol.

Oh this was driving me mad during the time my heir 2 was aging up all the way from toddler to YA and I didn't get a single one...
Have good luck with getting opps from career and special then, wish you all the best, because I planned too many self-employed that I had to leave ITF, but do I miss the beautiful new furniture and indoor plants:(
I doubt there will be a patch now that all EPs are out, so I am not betting on that, still praying for your and other lovely dynasties though lol

Chapter 27 - Genie

Despite all his hours of training and military work, Hunter still finds time for his beautiful Benni. They tried out the new 'Dip Kiss' interaction (which is unbelievably cute!) but it seems Angel wasn't that impressed.

Angel: *thinking* Drop her! Drop her!

Angel: *sigh* It would have been funnier if you'd dropped her...

Hunter: Did you say something, Auntie Angel?

Angel: Don't mind me. I'm just old and mad.

Hunter: You've always been mad...

Mickey ages up and develops a rather unique style.

Mickey: I'm going to be a STAR! *dramatic pose*

What an odd coincidence, seeing as I just got Showtime...

Mickey got a karaoke machine as a present and he and Minnie had a lot of fun on it.

Mickey and Minnie: ♫ Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that the heart does go on... ♫

They're best friends now.

Even if he does try to scare her when playing rock, paper, scissors...

Angel gets tried of hanging around in the house everyday so she signs up as a teacher in the local school. I don't know how she managed it because her police record is probably pages long now. There are drawbacks to having your Mum for your teacher though.

Angel: Honestly, Mickey, you're a whole hour late!

Mickey: I'd only be a few minutes late if you hadn't come out here to shout at me. And shouldn't you be working?

Angel: Um... yes, but that's not the point! Get inside now!

Mickey: That's what I've been trying to do!

Angel has many spare lifetime happiness points so she buys a lamp. Give it a rub, Angel.

Angel: Why?

Just do it!

Angel: Alright, bossy boots...

Angel: IT'S ALIVE! Get it away from me, it's probably radioactive or something...!

Genie: *thinking* Urgh, what an awful coffee table. That should be her first wish: a nicer coffee table.

Genie: *clears throat* I am the Genie of the Lamp! You have freed me from my lamp and you are now my master. I will grant you three wishes, oh master. You may wish for anything you desire.

Angel: 3 wishes? That's a bit lousy. Why can't I have unlimited wishes?

Genie: Because that's not how I work, got it?

Angel: You're a rubbish genie.

Genie: Watch it, master, or you won't be getting any wishes! So, what do you want?

Angel: I want a Godzilla!

Genie: I'm afraid I can't do that.

Angel: I thought I could have anything I desired!

Genie: You may choose from a pre-selected list of wishes.

Angel: This is stupid... fine, I'll have money.

Genie: MOOOOOONEEEEY!

Angel: Ooh, pretty lights.

Hunter: *thinking* Oh no, what is she doing now?

Angel: I can fly!

Would like to see Angel riding a Godzilla too!

She's a teen in the game now and she's very beautiful. 

I usually just let the aliens do their thing. I actually think it's quite funny!

Would like to see Angel riding a Godzilla too!

If only the game could cope with a Godzilla! Imagine the lag you'd get with that... *shudders*

I didn't actually find the code, I just bought a new copy. I'm guessing it went in the bin somehow. That happens to me a lot. But knowing my luck it'll turn up in the next week and I'll have wasted £15

I haven't got it yet, because I just got my new computer. At least I can save my Sims story from the usual Evil computer that destroys everything! So, I can't ask my parents for anything else and I just got their bad side lately . I have sister too but it seems for her The Sims is not her first priority right now. (I usually got new games from my Sister) But, enjoying the expansion from people stories also fun!

But, I'm glad to know that from you. Thanks for the info. I always wonder why each expansion always gives us trouble, trouble, trouble... I was freak out when I couldn't do Ghost Hunter profession job back then, thankfully that was fixed with later patch. I hope this new addition will be fixed later, they just ruining our fun!

I agree with Angel, it would be funny if he really dropped her and something happened to Benny and she suffers some brain damage. Hunter will be regretted to use Dip Kiss interaction again. It would be funny if they include two possible outcomes for that

I remember not having University for quite a long time but it just looked so fun that I had to get it! But you're right, reading about the expansions is almost as fun as having them. If the pack has been out for a while (as it had been with University), I like to read through the guides so I know exactly how things work before I buy it.

Bugs with expansion packs are extremely annoying. I have had a few skill opps pop up either in this game or in one of the others I'm playing, but not in the quantity that I was getting them before. I have no idea if EA will make another patch to fix this but I sure hope they do!

Well, brain damage wouldn't be too good for the mother-to-be of the Generation 3 but it would be funny if there was a possibility to drop them, or at least nearly drop them and hastily have to save them.  But it's still a fun interaction. I'm glad they added a new romantic action. 

You're right! It seems like the kind of song people would sing at karaoke... very loudly in a high-pitched wail, haha!

I think the rock, paper, scissors thing is random, but it was quite funny when Mickey did it because it just fitted his personality so well.

You mean the thing with the coffee table? I'm not sure, I think it might be because the coffee table is still scratched from when Cissy was around? That's often a reason why. But I don't know why several of them got the bubble at once. It's a mystery!

I play this game far too much so I know when things that are quite funny are going to happen. That genie face always makes me laugh because I imagine he's hollow and there's a really bright light bulb inside him shinning through gaps in his face, like a Halloween Pumpkin!

I imagined him screaming to be a bit like the chocolate guy from an episode of Spongebob Squarepants. It's such a funny scene! If you haven't seen it you should watch it on YouTube.

I tried to keep humour out of this chapter because it was quite sad for me to play so I didn't really think humour would fit in very well. I hope you enjoy it anyway.


Chapter 28 - Leaving

Mickey and Minnie's childhood was short and sweet. Mickey slacked a bit in in school and only managed to attain a B while Minnie got straight A's.

First Minnie aged up.

Oops, not a great time to press pause!

Hmm, I'm not too sure about that hair.

And Mickey wasn't too far behind her.

They're both very good-looking and unique and they both seem to resemble their mothers.

With four elders in the household, I knew deaths were going to happen. Four of them, very quickly. That's why I had the couples spend as much time as they could with the ones they loved.

Who would be the first to leave? That question was answered with the death of dear Walter.

He went peacefully. He'd lived a good life, raising 3 beautiful children and spending many hours rocking out on the keyboard. He was willing to go.

To some, Walter was just the husband of the spare, he served no real purpose in the dynasty. But he did. He was always there, he was always part of the family and part of the story. He was one of the nicest Sims I have ever played.

Walter Newman (nee Fullman), may you rest in peace.

You may be wondering why there is a butterfly beside his grave. Angel put it there.

She was mourning Walter when she noticed that his grave looked rather bare and boring. She didn't want that for somebody who's life had been so exciting.

So she headed over the road and caught a butterfly. A bright blue one. It was the first thing that had made her smile since Walter passed.

Mickey was hit hard by the loss of his father. He didn't get to spend as much time with his father as his sisters had. He had his own way of mourning. He sang.

But he also needed a shoulder to cry on. And that shoulder belonged to Minnie.

But as the pain of losing Walter was starting to fade, Grim struck again. This time, he came for Christopher.

He begged Grim to let him have more time. He wouldn't get to meet his grandkids, wouldn't get to see Minnie get married. But Grim would not give in to his pleads and took him anyway.

Now it was Minnie's turn to cry on Mickey's shoulder.

A keyboard falls silent...

A painting is left unfinished...

And two women sleep,
Without their soulmates beside them...
